I have all my birthday cakes out ready for the party. The peacock cake stays out year-round near the aviary. I have my favorites and look forward to getting a new cake each year. Back in the olden days, the number of candles on the cake matched the birthday. I think my earliest cake has three candles. That cake with it’s little wrought iron table and chairs sits out year-round, too, in the area where all my baked goods are produced. What I’m very curious about is the cake I spotted at this farm. The one floating beneath the helium balloons. I assume it’s for this birthday, but this is my first glimpse of it. I don’t see it on Greg’s farm. What am I missing?  |

I have it also. It’s an old Hayday birthday cake. I believe it came out when the house, shop and RSS had a American overdone look. Like the house in your picture.

I think the Finns are all out celebrating the summer solstice. I’ve often wished that we would get solstice celebrations in Hay Day.
