Every boat that comes to your farm during the event will ask for Birthday Balloon (in replacement of one of the 3 items). You can flag such crates for help and fill other's crates. Filling a crate of Birthday Balloon will reward you with Coins and Musical Note (instead of Coin and XP).
Using Musical Note:
Musical Note is the new temporary currency of this 12th Birthday event. You can use Musical Note in the Gift Catalogue to exchange for items such as: seasonal deco, puzzle piece, expansion permit, blueprint, boosters, chick voucher, voucher, expansion material, tools, coins...
You get Musical Note by filling boat crates (on any farm) asking for Birthday Balloon that you have previously made from Birthday Balloon Maker. Birthday Balloon cannot be sold in RSS, nor requested through Tom nor donated by neighbors. In other words, Birthday Balloon is not transferable between farms.
Boat Booster vs Musical Note:
Boat Booster can be used to fill Birthday Balloon crate but in this case you will not get any Musical Note. Be advised if you activate such booster.
