If you use this perk do you have to start the task from scratch? Or can you continue where you were with that task?
got a 30 truck 400 points mystery task and with those ridiculous amount of products I am never gonna finish with in time. While others already have 4000 points I am struggling with every task so far. This might be a demotion week derby for me this week, first time in years…..

You don't start over.
IIRC, the amount of extra time you get is the same as when you picked the task, or in this case, when the task picked you.

There are 3 players in my CL League that can’t reach max 4000 points anymore since yesterday. That gave me hope to move slowly forwards and stay in CL if I would be able to complete all 10 400 point task before derby ends. The final 3 tasks I had were easy in the end (mine, bed and breakfast that I all had and now working on the final carrot task). normally B&B would be a bit more work, but with a normal serve 23 visitors town task I release the B&B ones in the end. But with always 42 overall served they have stayed there for months, till today. As long as they pay their bill for the long stay I’m fine. 😉🤔😂😋 |

I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this perk. I have use it all the time as I am bit scatterbrained and sometime get hugely distracted, especially on some of the really short tasks, and especially on the really, really long ones that have a time limit. I had a truck task on this last Mystery derby and it took me forever. I didn't realise it was a timed task and it expired about 2/3's through the task.
Thank everything it picks up from where you left off. If you had to start again, it would not be such a great perk at all.
