Let's get this straight...you're not complaining but only stating a fact, aren't you? 😉 I thought that it would be a chicken valley also. An animal one is easier though. Exactly. IF I decide to participate in the valley...if at all...I very appreciate the animals. 😎😇 |

No complaints. My only complaint in the last sanctuary valley was that I got ZERO scrolls. This time, I got three.
Anyone wonder how can three elephants fit in your truck?

aadi Both, chicken and animal are not exactly brilliant. If I had to choose (I don't, but in case of) I'd also prefer animals. Chicken valley is dreadful. The first days you've trouble to discover them and even if you do you've normally not enough fuel to catch them. If you're lucky with enough fuel you'll experience with certainty a truck break-down. 😵💫😬 Some things are inevitable. I avoid this bc I am not in the mood for nuisance. 😉 BTW, officially welcome to JHD! 😉👍🪻

Do the amounts change if I drive my truck to a different sanctuary with the same animals? And do the points vary depending on types of animals in the truck? —— has anyone worked any of this out? Perhaps puzzles? |

To add more context about the lnk between animal a'd that ken: when an animal escaped and truck manages to capture that same animal, the token amound changes as well. Throigh such observations, an type of animal is not a guarantee to some kind of token.
When you want to changes token amount, yould let the animal escape ( they will escape after a long time not being delivered) then capture a new one.
Didn't work out any other way yet.

pelecatmiaow 😺To follow up, if you don't like the token distribution offered, you can drive around and hope that an animal escapes, then recapture the animal, changing the token distribution offered. It's a rough attempt at solving a token imbalance. Most of the time in Sanctuary Valley, I find that animal deliveries alone will give me more than enough tokens for the entire catalog and my pick of end-of-season prize, but the distribution needed for all the prizes isn't aligned with what is being cumulatively awarded with the sanctuary drop-offs. I've had seasons where I had to avoid fulfilling a lot of building requests and purposely seek out requests that get me closer to my target distribution. It can be quite a challenge. Last season was even more interesting as Valley had a decoration I actually wanted, so I had to align my token count to a minimum of 2300 of each (including piggy bank tokens) so I could secure both the "deco + 10 gems" and the 30 gems less 25 to open the piggy bank for a net of "deco + 15 gems". Tricky game when max tokens + piggy bank tokens = 7200 and 6900 of them have to be of a specific token distribution. Satisfying when you complete the objective (barely!)

Oh, and I ran into one Sanctuary season where I was a bit too eager with collecting animals early on and had a situation mid-season where I had bought all available prizes, hit max 6000 on tokens, and couldn't complete a few daily quests that required collecting X tokens, quickly reducing my chance of getting the last prize on the daily quest path.

It's not about capital letter, when you tag a member, their username should be used (in my case frogon) and not their display name (in my case Frog). However, I prefer not being tagged (I find it annoying and unhelpful). |

Don't tempt fate 😂 Someone posted recently on here or on facebook enquiring about Mystery Derby, and look what happened 😂 I love animal sanctuary and it's so much easier AND the Hayday gods must have been listening to me.... After moaning about the lack of scrolls recently on here I have FOUR, yes FOUR whole scrolls in my sanctuary prizes this time!!! All would have been SO well if that mischievous Mystery Derby hadn't shown up and dealt me the looooooongest task ever - ha ha!!! 🤣 Although I have ONE scroll on there too, and that's without any reshuffle! |
