Well not the best start to hay day but no one else has posted so might just be me.
click on free birthday cake…not received.
got a puzzle piece from chest …not received.
done first boat for my derby….not showing as done on derby task list, although did get the puzzle piece which finished my ostrich.
I might be a little crazy but sometime I feel hay day is not liking me much… never mind I will just carry on.

Yes, squirrel, In the diamond shop, there was a panel to click on that offered 400 free birthday cakes, which is the currency of the current truck event, not a decoration. |

I’m still trying to figure out why both the “birthday event” and farm pass for birthday month had old cakes. Has anyone told the HD team that the 50s rock n roll is not disco? XD
Edit: I’m mostly kidding, but you get the point. 😊
I think I have three new items. The birthday event was a lot of work for things I already had (except this time I picked up the bubble machine). It also slowed down for me after the first day, so I didn’t get all the points I wanted for the puzzles, scrolls and EMs I wanted. If there HAD been a lot of cute new things, I’d have been very disappointed again.
I hope not every birthday is going to be the same disco theme because it’s June and June is rainbow month. (Why did I think HDs birthday was in May.)
I’d have loved to have started with the new theme, with a rock and roll birthday cake, and saved the repeat stuff for later in the month for those who still need/want it.

MommySnooks 🐯 I agree. Given that HayDay celebrate a special happening I'd assumed that team HayDay would have come with more interesting and thoughtful things. Ok, the current theme is nice but not everyone's taste and for the festivity not appropriate in my opinion. Additional the farmpass isn't that interesting. In Germany we use to say: "Alter Wein in neuen Schläuchen" ..... Meaning: "Old stuff in new wrapping"... Only thing I can make sense of would be that those players are blessed who missed the deco in the first place. That's something, I guess.
