I would love the ability to see which players in my neighbourhood are currently online. I’m aware if I link my supercell account I can see but would much prefer an integrated system inside the actual app itself to streamline trading/ communication etc

Some people like to have more privacy and don’t appreciate that setting. (Speaking mostly from Clash, but still a group game.) One can always ask about trades in the chat, or pin a message if you are a coleader (or ask a co to do so)? If you see 3 of 20 people online, you know two others are there. Why not just ask? If they see your message and can do a trade, they can respond there.
I have never understood why so many HD players on the old forum (maybe still here) use KIK and such. If I’m in the middle of dinner, or outside, or wherever, I’m not one to stop what I’m doing and log into a game when a bell rings on my phone, or however that works. ?

barnabybarnesbarn & haydayfarmingWelcome to JHD! 🙂 Your request is understandable but it's in conflict with privacy, like MommySnooks 🐯 already stated. Though I am not very often in the game I declined my online status in the settings from the very beginning. I like to have my privacy and silence while I'm farming. I also think SC is aware about this and made the online status optional. Due to this I fear your wish won't be considered. Besides, we are only a forum for user and not endorsed by Supercell. So it's very unlikely that your wishes will be considered in the future. I am sorry bc I understand the need to be connected with other players for some important issues in the game, e. g. derby. Nevertheless don't get discouraged. Sometimes it's gonna happen that SC "hears" their players, but not everytime. Feel free to contribute in our wonderful forum in every way that pleases you. Take a look around and you will notice we are a great community, everyone is helpful and polite, and last but not least we are also having a lot of fun in our offtopic area. 🙂

Kik is just an anonymously app where you use a fake email account that you don’t use for other purposes. You’re not giving away anything like real data or phonenumber. And it’s just like WhatsApp or any other social media, you don’t have to react if you don’t wanna do so. For me Kik app is my “lifeline” for fast trading. 😉🤘 |

I agree to ducktown2021. When I joined JHD nearly 3 years ago I was very reluctant in regard to Kik. I think it was my fault, I read many bad things about the app and over-interpreted the possible "danger". Meanwhile I am very glad that I reconsired my concerns. Alongside with trading I always use it to "speak" some personal words with my trading partner. It's very refreshing and great in every respect. I compare it a little bit with a "door" to another "world" since my trading partners are distributed around the whole world. |
