I’m thinking about moments during everyday farming when something “makes my day”. Things like feeding my pets and having the bunnies give me the last plank I need to expand the barn, or seeing the seagull on my river boat that means some wonderful friend has filled my crate.
Today, I saw that a puzzle boat had arrived, and I opened the cargo hold with fear and trepidation because my barn stock was so low…bacon donuts, noodle soup, and something I’ve already forgotten. Imagine my delight when I had plenty of two of the items in stock (probably the only two things with much inventory) and Tom waiting to get the third item. Now I’m off to see if that puzzle piece will be one of the last two I need for a baby penguin.

NEWS UPDATE: It was! Now I only need one puzzle piece for the blue penguin chick! I’m hoping that the flamingo doesn’t snatch too many pieces before the penguin gets that last one.

Once in a great while, I am at DD looking for some low value crop like wheat and corn, and to my surprise, the farm is also selling 30+ planks.
