Anyone else finding the newspaper items already sold? It’s become unusable to me, as every item is sold when I tap into it.

Hoping it is temporary as there is very high demand by players searching for goods to do truck orders for the event, while at the same time everyone has lower-than-normal inventory of products so on the supply side there are less sellers.

same here, everything is sold out.
also, there are many duplicate ads. i counted 11 ads for 1 tape, all from the same shop name and, of course, all were already sold. all 11 were in the same “edition”.
i first noticed this about 18 hours ago.

Yes...the paper is absolutely useless for me since the golden fish event started...not sure what's going on but it is a disaster. Yesterday I saw a farm selling a screw and the ad showed TWELVE times throughout the paper. I hope they fix whatever the issue is soon! I miss going shopping!  |

Very frustrating .. even more so because even the basic items that ALWAYS are there are now being snatched up. Egg n bacon, for example or chilli popcorn or blankets, even diamond rings, I never bother making any as they’re usually available in the DD, but not now.

At a guess I'd say they are having to double up adds because less is being sold as people are sending truck orders and/or restocking barn/silo rather than producing to sell
And everything is sold already because if you've depleted everything and you do see something good and you can just buy to speed up your barn/silo replenishing than why not? 😅

It is so frustrating. You see an item you need not greyed out and you get this message.
