* No competition with other neighborhoods, so no league promotion or demotion. * Task stacks are available for 24 hours and cannot be trashed.
* Task stacks contain 5 of the same task which can be taken by different players.
* Task stacks will be replaced each day.
* Players can take 5 tasks each day plus 1 extra task for 2 diamonds.
* There are 15 horseshoe rewards.

Nice. Question before the mods move this post. Do we really need a separate derby section underneath neighborhood section? Derby is pretty much mainline gameplay now. And this forum doesn’t move all that quickly, so it’d be nice to keep all game related talk in general just imho. I get why SC put it under NH section initially, when derby was new and thousands of peeps were asking the same question over and over and so it made sense to keep General cleaner. But now with this forum, and with Derby as main gameplay now, maybe the mods and admins might rethink this?

I agree. And these instructions are and have always been available in the actual game, located on the derby board.

I can never remember which columns has the chance to get scrolls in with the chill bunny derby. If any knows it would be much appreciated information.

I can never remember which columns has the chance to get scrolls in with the chill bunny derby. If any knows it would be much appreciated information. In any Derby, expansion permits ("scrolls") can appear in horseshoe columns 4 and 7. In a Bunny Derby they can also appear in any or all of the 3 Bunny columns. Puzzle pieces appear in columns 3 and 6, and blueprints in columns 5 and 8. There is a limit on the number of blueprints that can be held though, so they may not appear. I hope this helps EDIT: sorry - this information is incorrect for a Chill Derby. Please see Terry1234's post below for the correct information.
My apologies for getting it wrong 😕

Sorry Cowslips, your information about scrolls is true for all derby types EXCEPT Chill derby. In a chill derby, scrolls can only appear in column 15, puzzle pieces can appear in columns 13 and 15, and blueprints can appear in column 10. As you said, in a chill bunny derby, (like all bunny derbies), scrolls and puzzles pieces can also appear in each bunny column. We have just 2 opted in, and normally it would take 4 bunny tasks to catch a bunny. This being a Chill derby, I was not expecting that it would take 10 bunny tasks to catch the little critter. While I appreciate the extra columns of prizes and the relaxed week of knowing we will not be demoted, having this # of bunny tasks so high does not make me feel Chill.

Are you sure someone else didn't opt in? It should only be 4 tasks for 2! We have 3 in this week and we only needed 6 to catch the rabbit! Maybe a note to support is in order?

I have checked and asked the only other person that normally would derby. She thought she opted in this week, but this morning showed as opted out. My baby farm is in a NH that has only 4 members opted in and needed 20 for tasks for the bunny. I was curious what other NHs are experiencing. Thanks for your input, Kathy.

It’s maybe been that way before. I don’t really remember. But at least it can be done.

With 9 players opted in we have to do 29 to catch each bunny. I thought it would be hard, but we caught the first bunny right away! The tasks are a nice mix on our board right now, so I think it has suited our playing styles. We will have to see how it goes with our second bunny. And how the board changes in mid-day can also throw us for a loop.

I wasn’t gonna derby this week but I had to try it after I read this. Opted in with 2 farms, both mine, did 10 wheat tasks in 9 mins total and got 500 pts but only 9/10 bunnies. Then it told me I can’t take another task until reset in an hour.
I hadn’t done a chill bunny derby before since I’m just recently back to hay day. I didn’t understand what was going on and was just wheating like a madwoman on two farms while trying to start foods for the subsequent tasks, like 4 honey teas and 2 baked potatoes etc. D’oh! Only realized when the 9/10th of a bunny was caught that the tasks are done for the day. I don’t mind it but it’s definitely not “chill”, lol.
(Ps, wow big font in the reply text here … frogon you rock!)

I have 2 opted in to the derby (both my farms) and have to do 10 tasks to catch the bunny. This has been the case for each chill derby since I restarted playing in late Sept last year. I agree that sometimes it is not very ‘chill’ and the two timers (three including the bunny timer) are confusing but they are very well explained in the Legacy: Chill (Bunny) Derby post added to Community Guides yesterday.

My strategy for the relaxed bunny derby is the following: Luckily I have a full developed town, and in the evening I satisfy all wishes of my townies, when necessary, I use additional the personal train, too. Then I'm waiting for the next day, hopefully there are tasks with townies, and these are quickly done. In this manner I'm ready in a few minutes. I think this is a very comfortoble way to deal with it. For me personally it works excellent.

Maybe (very possibly! ) I am mistaken... shhhh don't tell my husband.... when we do the one this afternoon I will check! Lol
EDIT I was wrong! Apologies to anyone that I lead astray,
For 3 opted in it took us 15 tasks...so in regular bunny derbies it is 2 a piece and chilly it is 5.
