Imagine the scenario: You're diligently tending to your farm in Hay Day, eagerly seeking those rare crops or products that always seem to slip through your fingers in the bustling Roadside Shop (RSS). It's a tale of frustration repeated all too often. But what if there existed a solution to this perennial problem?
Enter Neighborhood Slots – an innovative addition to Hay Day poised to revolutionize how we interact with our neighbors and obtain coveted items.
Here's the grand vision: Every neighborhood would receive a designated number of slots, exclusively reserved for its neighborhood members. These Neighborhood Slots would provide a haven where farmers could openly post their requests or the items they desperately seek, shielded from the grasping hands of outsiders.
Now, let's delve into the mechanics: Picture yourself in need of those elusive blackberries or a handful of olives. Instead of fruitlessly scouring the unpredictable RSS, you simply broadcast your request into one of the available Neighborhood Slots. Your neighbors, ever vigilant, can peruse these requests and respond directly, forging a direct line of assistance.
Yet, it's not merely about convenience – it's about nurturing a thriving community spirit. With Neighborhood Slots, the items you seek remain securely within the neighborhood, shielded from the indiscriminate rush of passing traders. It's a symbiotic relationship, enriching bonds and fostering cooperation among neighbors.
What are your thoughts on this concept?

Thats what the neighbourhood requests sort of already are... except its donation rather than sale
My neighbourhood is me and my 2 baby farms, regularly pass things between and there's always a moment of apprehension that the item might be snapped up
But I imagine if there was a 'neighbourhood only' rss sales slot that it would be restricted number of uses (much like the neighbourhood requests are) and so wouldn't prove useful for the transfer of many items at once

This idea was listed by SC as "No immediate plans, but maybe someday" on their Ruled Out Ideas List on the old forum. I copied that information to this forum for future reference. See the first item under "Neighborhood Features" here: justhayday.boards.net/post/398/threadSC have implemented requested features over the years that were (at one time) either ruled out or not in their current plans, so it never hurts to mention it again!
