Farm Pass Beta - January 2024 - User feedback

I just completed the Festival Road with 5 days left. Since Double Farm Pass points was introduced last week for Fridays, I waited to completed two tasks. The three roads feature is indeed Free-to-Play friendly for me as a casual player who plays 1-3 sessions daily with each session lasting 10 minutes or less.

Nobody in my NH considered it worthwhile to spring for the party or festival farm pass. Just the regular one.

I consider it really annoying to have a running tab showing the number of “unclaimed” prizes I have chosen not to buy. The ❗️on the chick hutch also stays even though I have claimed everything I have paid for or freebies I have earned. I hope that goes away. I like peace on the farm.

I will certainly not pay for it for various reasons. Not worth at all (especially the maps pieces are a clear un-incentive for me); the personal train bug has been there since at least December and still no fix (and I believe no fix will be available for a long while as this is yet another source of money (spending diamonds) for SC especially from the derby-oriented NHs - the town tasks are easy); disappeared permit events + selling them at astronomical prices; and many. I am not the wallet for SC in return for a game that is full of bugs and a developer that really does not care about the players.

I deliberately maxed out my barn and silo before the pass ended, so that I could test this.

I'm pleased to report that nothing complicated happened.   My barn and silo have simply "gone over" by 50 items, so I'll be able to decide which ones to use or sell in order to get my storage working again.

The farmpass is always a good opportunity to get deco, which was way to expensive when it was first introduced. In my view, that was one of the most advantages.
Well, February is kind of a disappointment again. I think, everybody hoped for the Venice deco, the canal path, swan and that gentleman with the rose.
And again, the party and festival pass are kind of thinned out again.

February was the first time since the farm pass became a thing that I did not bother finishing even the 'norm' pass road with my little farms

Even on my big farm I ignored it completely past the end of the 1st 'norm' pass road

I can't explain why but even with the double points Friday my interest in the pass road has just stopped

And I have no interest in chick decorations!

Get town visitors to visit the sanctuary
Any tips? Or just wait?
This is not a one day goal, so there is time.

Only visitors who arrive on the eggspress train - and therefore want to visit 2 or 3 buildings - might want to visit the sanctuary.   

You can tell if they do by tapping on the town hall to look at idle visitors when the train arrives.  Those who wish to visit the sanctuary will show a paw print to the right of the building images.  If you then tap on  "see visitor" you will see an image of the visitor, with a thought balloon showing which animal they wish to see.  If you don't have that animal the image will be crossed through.  Fully serving a visitor will trigger them to visit the sanctuary, as long as you have the appropriate animal. 

It can take some time to fulfil the task, but it is possible with patience.

It plays when you reach the end. There is deco now available as part of diamond package deal with a band, but not the band at the end of the farm pass.

Very good explanation. 

But one thing: I also thought only visitors from the eggspress train visit the sanctuary. But sometimes also visitors from the personal train have a paw print. 
It doesn't happen very often. But I saw one a week ago in my neighbourhood and was suprised that they also can have a paw print. Thats why I remember this. 

I've now looked into this further (as a part of preparing for the Derby).

I use my several baby farms to provide my hood with town visitors.  I do this by sending away all those who arrive on the Eggspress train.  That includes those townies who want to visit the sanctuary. 

On one of my babies the leaving board showed the following:




When I went to that farm to pick up, this was what I saw:



It seems that Anne and Lily no longer wish to visit a sanctuary.   (Perhaps they are sulking?)  😆
