All day today my farm and my husband’s farm has had a BAD GLITCH ‼️😵💫 We load the machines with the required amount to be made, and when we come back it has only one or two items. We put in 3 or 4 items. We have to start all over again. Has anyone else noticed this?

bbean33 and Tahoe 🐾Regarding to your observation I noticed the following which disturbed me in the very beginning... I load my machines for the required items. After some time I wanted to know whether the task was finished respectively not far away from finishing. For that purpose I clicked on the task in question and used the arrow in the right upper corner to reach the machine at once. This is of course comfortable but there is a catch. When I reached the destination I found out that the game picked up the produced items so that you were forced to start from scratch. I noticed this behaviour several times until I was aware of the real problem. You must not reach out to the machine via the described arrow, this will spoil the process. You have to go to the machine manually and watching with caution how far the production has progressed. I don't know whether this is solving your problem but I wanted to address it. 🎄⭐️

I just experienced this too, donkeyfan, and was coming here to tell people to be careful. Thank you so much for being on top of this!

Additional:
If you happen to make 4 items, e. g. and you use the arrow for a check and the machine has already produced 2 from the 4 items, you will loose those 2. It's very annoying since we got no warning about this.
Only possibility to avoid this is having always a full barn so you can stack the produced items without fear of loosing them. But this can be tricky too, as you have to manage your barn carefully for this purpose. If you are going to load any machine with a required item the ingredients will be taken from the barn. If you don't pay attention you have the same problem again since a not completely filled barn will led to the behavior you don't want. Picking up the produced items if you reach the machine with the arrow.
It's nothing for me, I prefer to handle it manually. Better safe than sorry, so to speak.

Just one note: you pick up 1 item each time you use the arrow. This happens whether or not there is an event on. It’s happened since the upgrade that added the arrow everywhere. So yes, like everything in life, there are pros and cons to the ubiquitous arrow.😏

BostonGirl THX for clarification. I wasn't aware about 1 item which would be picked up by using the arrow. 👍🙂

Thanks for the info donkeyfan. That wasn't the case for me as I don't collect the products that way. I had put 3 items in some empty (and unstacked) machines and when I opened the game the following day, only 2 were produced and nothing in queue.

Thank you, Tahoe 🐾 ! I never noticed that (obviously). It's barely noticeable and should be a different color imo (unless it's not working properly, then it's better going unnoticed!)

We put in 3 or 4 items. We have to start all over again. Has anyone else noticed this? I don’t know if this is related to your glitch, but the timer is off on my farm. I activated a booster and it seems to be working, but when I set a timer and go back in, two of the items are still in the queue when all should have been completed.
