Dear farmer, sometimes I regret the time shift. When I'm awake, most of you are sleeping due to that, and when you're active, it's time for me to go to bed.  Regardless I want to ask you another question referring to the update tomorrow: Do you intend to name your animals? I did, and I was looking for new names for the guinea pigs and the horse. I actually found names for the guinea pigs but not yet for the horse. I wanted some special names, preferable funny. My sister-in-law assisted me in that case, and finally she was successful. Well, I don't assume that you know "Cindy and Bert", because they were famous in the 70th in Germany, but I know the most songs from them. When I get tomorrow the guinea pigs, I think they will be very happy with their names.   I'm assuming you're in Europe; so am I, so our time zones are close. On my main farm my pets are all named. Some have names of people I met on holiday in 2019 (the last holiday I had). It makes me smile when I tap one of the pets as it instantly reminds me of that happy time. A certain young man in my family named a few of the pets. That's why one of my donkeys rejoices in the name of Clumpiance! I'm hoping that we will be able to have 2 guinea pigs (Dairy News didn't make that clear, and talked in terms of one). I used to have guinea pigs many years ago, and the boar was called Boris. That was long before the UK had a famous Boris, but I will still use it for my new pet. |

Maybe a dumb question - but seeing as I’ve never owned a Guinea Pig - what are they going to eat is it carrots or nuts or…  guineapigs main diet is hay, carrots you can offer as a treat in the real world we will see what they actually eat (guessing carrots since rabbits do it now and their maindiet is also hay) as a animal they are incredibly cute and the sound they make is even more cute |

CowslipsMy animals have mostly old-fashioned German names. Earlier they were not as popular, but time has changed. Actually many such old-fashioned names are given to boys and girls. But I've also names from famous films, like "The Hobbit". Regarding to that one horse is named "Thorin Oakshield".

donkeyfan my car is called Thorin - because he looked after his people 😄
We had Guinea Pigs when we were kids, the parents were Albert & Gertie and their babies were Pixie & Dixie and Maisie & Daisie

Feeding Guinea Pigs? In the game, no idea.
In real life my Guinea Pig ate a pellet food, supplemented with alfalfa and veggies—lettuce and celery were his faves. He’d squeak and rattle the bars of the cage whenever we opened the fridge door, lol. 💗
In the wild I think it’s still mostly leaves, maybe fruit/berries. I honestly can’t remember. ?

Maybe a dumb question - but seeing as I’ve never owned a Guinea Pig - what are they going to eat is it carrots or nuts or…??? I have first hand knowledge of what Guinea Pigs eat because many years ago my co-worker brought one to work. She told me it ate the formulated pellets made for GPs sold at the pet store. Some of you may be wondering why someone would bring a GP to work. IIRC, I checked the spam folder of my work email to see if I had missed an email announcing "Bring Your Pet to Work Day" or "Bring Your Support Animal to Work Day". I didn't find it. Her GP did affect my productivity as I found myself making unnecessary visits to her cubicle to watch her GP be inactive inside the cage. ==Lynn== |

I‘m so excited about the guinea pigs since I have two here in real life <3
Main feed is plain hay. Twice a day they get fennel, salad, celery, bell peppers and cucumbers. My little ones don‘t like carrots haha. And they loooooove dill and parsley.
Hope the update is rolling out today since the upcoming derby is a chill derby.

She just visited my farm, RSS, truck and house deco’s were “delivered”. I can’t believe I splurged on buying the Maggie items. I blame it on my OCD and wanting to maintain a completed Collection Book. Sadly after buying all the items I realized that SC has jumped the gun and there’s already spots in the Collection Book for the special Halloween decorations. I reverted everything except the RSS to something other than the rainbow birthday deco. I didn’t know you could change back once you’d done it, you learn something new everyday. I only purchased the house deco I have now because I didn’t like the last lot I purchased 🙄 |

I only purchased the house deco I have now because I didn’t like the last lot I purchased 🙄 Yes, you can always revert to anything in your Collection Book even if Maggie doesn't show you the option because you just changed something in the weekly sale. In fact you can change the house/RSS/truck deco at any time from the Collection Book. Whenever I've done so it has always charged me the 75% off pricing too. Hello everyone (I did not see a welcome for new members thread)... I did not know this either. So how does one revert using the Collection Book, please? But I have to say, I love the funky disco look  |

Dear farmer, at first I didn't want to change anything. But today I made a point. I got so attracted from the mirror balls, that I decided to make a try. Well, it was not only one try, because I changed my truck completely in birthday deco, the roof of my farmhouse and the base from my RSS. Meanwhile I have arranged with the multiple colours and the sparkling of the disco balls, I enjoy it. When I think it's enogh, I change back to the previous look, but in the moment I'm always looking forward to it, when I'm working on my farm. |

This is for a new animal that hasn't been added yet. The arctic fox. There's one on Greg's sanctuary. It was most likely going to be added but they decided to wait for the next update. Only a few people have been able to make the food, but nobody can use it yet. Hopefully by the fall update. |

I changed my mind again. Meanwhile I accomplished the whole birthday-thing. I couldn't resist and buyed the offer with 130 diamonds and the little dog in the pail. It's now on the strand, wondering what's happening around.  With new diamonds I was able to complete the RSS and my farmhouse. It's very, very nice. And funny, the coulorful deco doesn't disturb me now, I don't know why.  |
