Is anyone out there wondering, like me, how the push for more profitability is affecting SC’s original goal of having people play their games for(ever)? I’m not being snarky. I’m seriously wondering if they’re successfully walking the line. I mean time will tell us all, I suppose. 🤷♀️
The reason it comes up for me at this moment is because a booster like this tends to speed up the game, while the lack of land certificates and puzzle pieces slows it down (interminably for some). They’ve been really good at balance in the past but who knows. Pressure changes things.

Its been said on here before recently that there has to come a point where adding a new machine and sanctuary animals every 3 months is just not sustainable
My own machine area is near bursting and I can't see how any more animals would comfortably fit in the sanctuary!

I regularly play another game which constantly bombards me with opportunities to spend real money to hasten or improve game play. I've learned to just tap out of them and continue playing in my usual way. Having said that, I do buy their equivalent of Hay Day's Farm Pass, as it gives very generous rewards during the month it is active. In Hay Day I'm readjusting my mindset to one where I look at the various offers, and ignore most of them. I suspect this will soon feel "normal" to me. I'm glad that Team Hay Day has rethought aspects of the game, such as events and boosters. I can learn to take advantage - or ignore - those changes. Just my two pennyworth, of course...  |

You’d have to spend US$9.99 and get 275 diamonds to afford the boosters at the diamond price. Curious: How many diamonds does AU$5.99 get you? EDIT: I always look at the diamond offers in these terms - how much is it in real money? |

 Iv never brought the booster packets before but tonight I brought just out of interest to see what it gives. Only once can you purchase the offer says sold out. |

Cowslips I’m a little concerned no lie. Like you, I’m spending a lot less on HayDay than I used to. We can’t be the only ones. And when I decided to spend recently, SC really annoyed me with the Black Friday sale and I changed my mind. But perhaps I shouldn’t be worried. Perhaps the newer players, unaccustomed to how the game was, will think the new push is normal. SC is probably relying to a great extent on attrition to leave people like us behind and mould the next generation of players toward the more profitable model of newer games. We are the real issue…which now that I think about it, I find amusing to some degree.😄 We long time players are the ones giving SC the headache of trying not to alienate us while filling their coffers. Well that and getting enough newer players to replace us.

I do hope that players look out for themselves when it comes to these offers. Most of us have financially supported this game for many years, ɓut I hope you all will make your purchasing decisions wisely.

Just got another aussie to check there farm they got the 150 diamond package. Off the subject in Perth it’s cheaper to fly to Bali or Singapore then it’s to fly to the eastern states 😂 🤣 it’s sad the way game is going. As I said mine was an experiment to see what you got it’s a bit disappointing that booster is only for the hour.

I don’t remember what the CAD dollar amount is right now but it looked reasonable, and a dairy boost is potentially helpful, especially with milkshakes requiring even MORE dairy. It’s good to know what the booster is for. (I’ve learned the hard way and now ignore offers for  boosters, even if they are guaranteed to be 5 stars. 5-star I don’t use?) But the one hour limit makes it look less helpful. With that, though, since I don’t store milk, I don’t know if the cows could keep up? |

I still buy the Farm Pass every month, and I top up with diamonds as and when I need to. I'm rather less tempted by the offers though, simply because there are so many of them nowadays. I am being more selective with what I buy. Back in the day I used to buy almost all where I got a "free" deco with a diamond package. Nowadays I buy only those packs that I particularly want. |

I do buy some decor and diamond packages if I really like the decor. I don’t ‘do’ Halloween but I will look at Christmas offers. I have plenty of diamonds so rarely look at the diamond packs.

Imagine wheating and making breads constantly during blossom derby  A few tips to make the best use of your money: - consider buying through Supercell Store for 10% extra diamonds. (requires game to be connected to Supercell ID, cannot change country/currency) - you can make purchase for your game from Apple Store of another country (living in Europe, I could buy and download app from Canada Store after some techy steps). I know people would go all the length needed to create extra apple ID for this. As for currency, some Mney transfer app (I'm using one of them) allow you to convert betwen currencies + virtual cards that you can use to make purchase in App Store of different coutnries) EUR is rising compared to USD / AUD in recent days. Just an idea  |

So this arvo I activated one of the 3 star dairy new booster. I had my free rose booster going since this morning to product milk. When she had reach 90 milk I activated the super booster along with my free Earnest booster. Set him for a straight 100 each butter and cream. As a simple setting at the end of the hour he was able to product 9 butter and 10 cream had a milking between that hour and milk was at 75 on the finish. I could of watch a few movies along the way but didn’t had my little gbabie and I know now that some basic information with figures on the 3 star super booster is though other here will have ideas on how to get maximum out of the cards. Hope this helps ❤️
