Allow me to post a rant .. last week’s Daily Quests needed me to fix a truck. I checked continuously throughout the day and zero broken trucks showed up. Today’s Daily Quests need me to do a group request .. but there are none (several broken trucks there today grrrrrrrr). This means I might not get to the end of the trail. More grrrrr.
Anyone else annoyed by this? Any practical tips or hints to overcome it?

I often have the same problem, but can't think of any way to overcome it.

Totally understand how you feel matey. I remember one season when I would enter the valley spin my wheel make one move and the second move my truck would break down. It would happen after daily reset it was a horrible season. Iv only got 2 scrolls this time and they are available at the last 2 lines to buy from. My vouchers are full and Iv just been doing a small area around and round again buying stuff just to reduce it by and little to add a little, my fuel is just sitting there. Valley needsa refresh it would be great to add a feature that you could gift one of your friends your fuel like time like this. Maybe it might be something they might look at in the summer update one can always hope as I do love having the valley

It is very frustrating I find. I have three permits and usually lucky to get one. My animals are escaping nearly every time though and the truck is breaking down almost daily. Once I have the permits I am stopping.

TBH I really love the Valley, however, I do feel it’s over-complicated and could do with removing some of its features. For example, the clouds (why clouds, I mean?!), the limits on fuel points (99) and the coloured vouchers (6000), the silly piggy bank at the end, and more.
I would also remove the spin wheel and simply award a set amount of fuel with each level.
And while I’m at it .. has anyone ever reached more than 550 Valley sun points? Is the jump up to 1000 even achievable I wonder …

Achiveable, yes, depending on task.
Time wise, planting wheat would be the fastest. In practice, I have seen boat racers on global leaderboards achived lots of Valley points when they have boat tasks the same day.
