Can we not make these farm visitors more user friendly? asking for 1/2 my inventory worth of stuff is plum crazy. They need to toned down a lot. Since when do farm visitors come to a farm to buy all your axes and saws plum crazy. How about more realistic request ? A farm visitor asking for 10 or 20 tomatoes or some other type of veggie or baked goods.. but not 63 axes of 500 olives that’s nuts. I know I can send them away but how about making farm visitors more productive so we can actually give them something verses always sending them away empty handed.

I wish that the farm visitors asking to buy things were optional
Like there was an on/off switch in advanced settings for them
Even if you could only activate that switch once you'd reached the top tier achievement for selling to them
Like "here as a reward for reaching maximum recorded sellage you now never have to take time to evict them again!"
(I grow a Birch tree that coveres the space they stand because having them mill around winds me up 😆)

It’s a nightmare. Mega yard sale is absolutely useless for all these days. Keep getting asked for all of my stuff. If I have 3 extra fences best believe they will ask for all 3. It seems too needy, too rushed. We already get screwed when they asked for 32 honey combs or 48 sugars, now we gotta deal with this garbage.

Selling large amounts of wheat to them is part of my regular game play. Originally I thought this had to be a glitch. But no, it apparently isn’t 🙄

I can’t see the point of the yard sale running for so long.

I can’t see the point of the yard sale running for so long. I do agree. I have no desire to sell items that have no impact on my "real" storage areas (barn and silo). I occasionally use some of the old decor for a short-term quirky display, but I'm happy for them to remain in storage at other times. This event has had an impact by making it harder to fulfil farm pass goals, as well as causing difficulties for players who practise wheating. I think the main issue is that it has gone on for too long. Having said that, I'm absolutely delighted that Supercell are trying lots of new things in Hay Day. For a while the game has been feeling a little stale, so new challenges are very welcome. Of course, they include an element of risk that they may not be well-received, but SC ask for feedback, so will probably get the message!

Other than being longer than expected (I thought it was three days, then realized it was still going, and now it says something like 2d and ?19? hours). I’m wondering if my timer is stuck, lol.
I’ve appreciated getting rid of some things and others I like, I keep. I never bother with visitors when they ask for too much of other items. In fact, I rarely use them. So this kind of event occasionally will help toward the “sell to farm visitor achievement” (which I still expect to take me literally years).
I only give them crops if we’ve had a “x3” crop event and my silo is full of extras. Even then, I usually use my RSS. I do bundles of hay with extra wheat, and sell excess of those.
I guess I see a bit more why it might bother others with a different playstyle. Just saying it’s not hard for me personally to take advantage of it when I can, and work around it otherwise.
