I was browsing Daily Dirt and found a boat order at level 39 with only 4 crates of 4 bread/crate. That is 16 breads per boat!! Very surprised as in the past I beleive it would be 10ish per crate.
Have you noticed any other item that has significantly changed in amount in boat order since October 2023?
Edit: Found a discussion on Reddit, it seems happening randomly and could go back to previous amount. One thing I notice is the amount that used to be for a full crate is now divided into each crate, Example: instead of having 3 syrup per crate, it is 3 crates of 1 syrup each.

Does anywhere exist a list of items and amount for boats?
I would never remember how much it was at level 39. I don't even know the amount in my current level. 🤣

I always had the impression that demand of boat orders is more related to barn size than level.

I don’t do bread boats unless it is unavoidable.

I’m trying to understand whether it’s some weird bug or unannounced changes with the game.
Searching for “hay day boat order amount” on the internet will return some discussion, including lists of amount per product by level.

I noticed it with popcorn to, I only got asked for 4 boxes of 2 popcorn, when the boxes usually are over 10.

That is great news if it is correct - plain popcorn was like, 15/crate or so (hayday fandom however still says 10-20/crate max, so 80/boat)

This is more like a bug that comes and goes, just like the issues with lucky bonus in Valley. Unless I see new reports for it, I will just consider this as a "ghost" issue .

I have new observations about this, and really love that Supercell could release some statement regarding this good news instead of keeping the changes undisclosed.
The amount required per boat has been reduced, very subtle change. In most case, the amount will staty the same for you. The most sensitive item that will changed significantly are basic products that are available at early level: - basic crops : wheat, corn, carrot.. - bread - popcorn
I gotta monitor my mini farms more closely before sharing a few screenshot back.

I have noted though that while boats have got better, truck board has got worse. I used to get an occasional order wanting 4 of each item, now it seems to be the norm & it is a struggle to get reasonable order, which means I will not do truck quests lol.

Yes, I loved trucks for a long time. I won’t send trucks that request more than one/item. 4-5 things for one truck, x32 is more than enough for a single derby task. Then the board repopulates with higher amounts requested, and I trash them until I get singles again. It can take me a few days. No more derby truck tasks.
It bugs me that things like trucks and even trains, that I used to love, I find annoying now. ☹️
It may be because I’m at a higher level, but that doesn’t matter to me. I won’t be making and sending off more products at level 200 than I did at 50 because of the slow pace of barn expansion. So…Idk.

Back to boat order with new observation in Daily Dirt on 4th Dec 2023. Level 32, 3 crates each Carrot: 10 /crate -> 30 total Chili Popcorn : 1 /crate -> 3 total According to Hay Day wiki, data on MindoPod page, at level mid 30', it used to be: Carrot 33 x 3 = 99 Chili Popcorn 4 x 3 =12 I see this as a good news as boat order would be much easier to complete for our players while they struggle with barn space management. Also easier to get help. Direct consequence would be seasonal boat event (filling boat crate for mistletoes) would require less amount and easier to fill. One question left is whether this change is permanent. 2024 will tell us .
