Would be great to be able to be able to make several different flavors. Like chilli honey, lavender honey. It’s been no change with the honey since beginning

My mums favourite honey is orange blossom
I imagine the logistics in being able to select where the bees will forage from (lavender, blossoming fruit tree, Heather, etc) would be hard but it would definitely make it interesting!

We have two beehives and the honey varies seasonally. Lavender is lovely and we also have some Manuka bushes. The orange and other citrus dominate in spring when it is harvested.

We have a place here call The House of Honey it has active hive inside fitted into the wall it sells many different products. I love the way you have bee hives Gymgirl it’s such an interesting thing to do. The shop also sells redgum medical honey that they us on wound care. It’s like wine making and cheese making find it so facilitating.

We could have a second bee tree? Sometimes I find it hard to keep up with regular honey as I’m not around to collect often enough. If I had to divert bees to other trees or bushes for flavours, I’d never have enough honey of any sort. But with a second tree, it could be fun! 😊
