i collect so many random one off decorations that ill never use and they just clutter my storage when trying to decorate. i wish they'd atleast make an event even if it was like twice a year that you could post decorations in the shop to sell.

Hello and welcome to the forum! That would be nice to make some extra cash on all those decos we never use. The "Yard Sale" event (I think) is still only for selling instruments, but I could be mistaken. We have a designated board for proposed "Ideas and Features Discussions" for the game, if you'd like to check it out. |

I always hold one “hostage” asking for mining tools. The other one normally asks for crops. I wheat a lot for the drops and it’s an easy way to get rid of the extra wheat I don’t use for wheat bundles. Doesn’t your event board have two events active? Mine has the truck event and mega yard sale event. or do you have all your deco at display, cause than the visitor doesn’t ask for it. |

Most of my farm visitors are asking to buy deco. The event board says they'll ask for a minimum of three, but I had one visitor ask for one.

I decided to check in here too as my farming was messed up yesterday by all the visitors asking for decos on both of my farms - sometimes even asking for three of three decos so if I accidentally say “Yes” that would be really bad.
Anyway, if the event really continues for 8 more days I will be tearing my hair out. I am really hoping this is a glitch!

I'm pretty sure in the past it meant that visitor will sk for decorations that players have a minimum of 3 in storage. Because one of the tip that was shared is to put out decorations on the farm so we have less than 3 in the storage during such event. Weird 8 days event. |

It’s a 10 day event, we already had it one day and this morning it said 8d23h, so for me total 10 days….

I'm pretty sure in the past it meant that visitor will sk for decorations that players have a minimum of 3 in storage. Because one of the tip that was shared is to put out decorations on the farm so we have less than 3 in the storage during such event. I only have one of that deco (horn of plenty, in storage). I’ve been able to get rid of some excessive deco (I don’t really want 30 gardening trays), though it’s not like deco storage has a limit. No one’s asked for windmills… I’ve still got about 80 of those. |

One of the tasks for my farm pass was to sell to town visitor. It took a while to complete mine keep asking for the good stuff that I want to keep.

I’m also stuck with too many crops from valley tasks that can’t be sold to visitor as they prefer asking for decorations.
Unnecessary length for this event, disrupting gameplay. They are messing with one of the biggest sink in the game.

Wouldn’t it be nice if once you’ve sold a certain number of unwanted deco, one could go to a special SC yard sale and purchase for cheap a deco you might need a few more of.
I rarely look at what my visitors want as I rarely give them anything.

I thought I saw three days for this event, which I love. Maybe I wasn’t wearing glasses. Three days seems about right. I’ve been asking about this for a while once I got a happy gardening bench and ended up with 20 or something. Then they asked for topiary trees, but wanted 13/13. I’d like to keep a couple, thanks, lol. I’ve had visitors ask for both deco and some for the odd usual item-kind of a mix.
