I’m struggling to understand the point of the Valley’s piggy bank.. does anyone spend diamonds (quite a lot of diamonds) to access additional items that they could probably buy for less diamonds in the normal store? I’m curious to know ..

I’d say sometimes it’s worth it, sometimes it may be better to carry the piggy bank over to the next valley season.
If using the piggy bank I would have enough tokens left to purchase a land scroll, personally, I would open the piggy bank. The diamonds to buy a scroll (when offered) is significantly more than the 25 diamonds the piggy bank cost.
If the only choices I would have is common decorations, or expansion material that is easily acquired, I would not open the piggy bank.

Never have and never will open the piggy bank. Most decos I don’t use. Spending 25 diamonds to get the 30 might be an option, but not for me. And we will have to collect the scrolls for a long period, and once you have opened all the land plots, most likely new ones will be added.

I don’t spend 25 diamonds to get 30. Makes no sense to me. What Mom’sCar said about the scroll is something I hadn’t thought of (but I also don’t remember how many of each I have in there. It may tell us, but if it does, I haven’t looked all this time, lol.

I tend to prioritise scrolls when choosing Valley goodies.. followed by puzzle pieces (I ❤️ my Sanctuary animals), followed by barn tools (just planks) as a third priority. Seriously cannot see a scenario where I would want to spend diamonds to get anything else.
