Would love to get ideas how people set there Rose and Ernest. Mine I tend to set just to milk and get bacon and to do cream, butter and both sugars. Other ideas on how to get the most out of them would be much appreciated. I would also love to see them refreshed to be able to harvest honey and set production for both honey and wax tins.

I use Rose mostly for milk and bacon, probably every month or so.
I don't use Ernest at all. I check in the game enough times during the day that my dairy machine is always busy. I make cream and butter during the day and cheeses at night.

I used them recently for the first time apart from their initial introduction to the game. That was a long time ago.
We were travelling and I knew I wasn’t going to be logging in often. I used Rosie to keep the cows going and Ernie for cream, cheese and butter. I haven’t used them since but would consider doing so under the same circumstances but otherwise I do it myself.
I also make cream and butter during the day and cheeses at night, same with sugar in the daytime and syrup overnight.
My husband uses them all the time and they do the full range of sugars and dairy on his farm. He would love them to do honey.

When I use them, I do milk, cream, eggs, both sugars and bacon in very different quantities. Then I set my own butter and cheeses together with syrup for overnight. I’ve found Ernest to be most inefficient when he has the longer tasks, so I give him all short ones. He picks up the slack when my queue is done. To complement him then, I have Rose doing only cows, chickens and pigs. Any other animal, product or feed I harvest and produce myself. That formula works for me. |

Big thanks to all for the feed back.Tonight I’ll set my cheeses and sugar syrup. It’s great to have ideas on how others do things always great to try something new.everytime they go back up the hill to rest I do wonder if sc will ever do something with that path that leads to the forrest.

Hi Lunadocker , I use Rose and Ernest rotative. If I'm lacking milk and bacon I hire Rose. If I am in need for sugar etc Ernest will be my "man". I adjust the products needed accordingly. To improve the outcome I care for the needs of Rose and Ernest regularly so that their work is always fluent. Additional I transfer their goods regularly as well by putting them in my RSS for purchase through one of my babyfarms. This way I ensure that Rose and Ernest never take a break for the hired time. I want to use them as much as possible. 🙂 |

Do you know that they are offered for 3 days for free around 30 days x 24 hours after their previous service had ended? So their service are free about once per month.
When it happens, you can choose not to activate right away, they will wait at their house.

Woah. This is complicated, lol. Does this help, Snooksy?😊 EDIT: He does this all day mostly, and I set butter, cheese, goat cheese and syrup for overnight production. For a bit of clarification, I initially had Ernest set for 100 cream. When he kept hitting that target, I modified him to produce 20 butter just so he would never be idle during the day. I still produce butter overnight because fudge!😠😄    |

lol you have to love thei way Ernest’s eyes are closed in those pictures it like really now you want me to do this I had just gone to sleep. I do get a giggle from the humour here.

I keep Rose and Earnest on 24/7 and now I never run out of animal products, sugar or dairy. My favorite things are the free storage and not having to manage the feed mills. I based my levels wool and goat milk to have enough for a boat. I don’t want to store them in my barn so I keep them in the helper storage. I ran low on dairy when I was mastering the fudge maker and yogurt machines. And ran low on sugar when mastering one of these machines (can’t remember which). But now that those are mastered, I’m back to never running low. I only do tasks for the derby and events. For the derby I focus on the town. I might do 1 truck task a week and I only do boats for an event or puzzle piece. I’ll post my levels below. I can’t remember the last time I adjusted Rose’s levels, but I change Ernest levels from time to time if I get to much of one thing and not enough of the other. I like to keep 1/3 more cream than butter, for example, so if those levels are off in my barn, I just adjust Ernest until they level out. (Tip: check levels in the machine itself, not the barn. On the machine it will show the total quantity in the barn + helper storage.)    |
