Not likely a "bug" but rather an issue I'm experiencing. When trying to buy the farm pass (or offers) on my main farm, my second farm's email shows and I'm prompted to enter a payment method. My main farm has a GP balance, so it's usually an easy transaction. I've disconnected all of my farms from GP, and when I reconnect the main to it, I'm selecting the correct email but any purchase attempts still show the other.
All of my SCID emails are correct in relation to all my farms. I've asked for help from Google, but no word yet. If anyone has experienced this and might have some advice, it would be greatly appreciated!

Where do you disconnect the farm from GP? if inside Hay Day then it is only a measure to load the farm (pre SCID), not meant to be linked to purchase method. If you want to change account to be used with Play Store, please chagne from inside Play Store. Step by Google: support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2521798?hl=en#zippy=%2Cswitch-between-accounts( the part Switch between accounts) Then force close Hay Day then try again? Another way to buy Farm Pass if you have Supercell ID, with some discount, is via Supercell Store if your country is eligible. I can't no longer find the FAQ article listing the countries, but from one of Official news on Clash reddit page, the store has been extended to a lot of south asia countries + USA around June 2023. I also tried to purchase the farm pass last night through the store (via the link) and it didn't seem to recognize that I had a balance in Google Pay (prompting me to enter a payment method), which is odd because I was logged in to the correct account and that account shows my balance in my profile info. I'll give it all another go tonight. Thanks so much! Update- My main account was already selected in The Play Store, but I switched to another account, then switched back and restarted tablet. The other email is still showing when I try to make the purchase, unfortunately.

It could be that google acxount used to download the app must be the same as the one used for in-app purchase. I recall some rule simular on AppStore.
In this case, you will need to uninstall Hay day app, change account in PlayStore to the one with balance, then redownload Hay Day.
As for Supercell store, payment method is different depending on country. To be clear for future purchase, you could contact support to ask about Supported payment method. A few mentioned are credit/debit card, paypal. I'm not really sure that Google balance/Appstore balance can be used elsewhere than their own store.

Apparently, (after doing a lot of reading) there have been many others who have experienced this issue where another email is defaulting on the account they are trying to make a purchase from. It doesn't appear that Google has been very helpful to any of them (according to them) and some players have found a workaround in uninstalling/disabling the Play Store and reinstalling/enabling it, BUT, this can come with unwanted consequences and I am not willing to risk that. I will try your suggestion and if I must, I'll put a credit on the defaulted account and get a reimbursement of my credit on my main account. Thanks again, I'll keep you posted.

I think I read the same article aswell after readign your post.
The extreme way I would like to avoid, if possible, is to remove the unwanted account from the device, then perform purchase and readd it later.
So much unnecessary trouble indeed.

I tried to add credit to the defaulted account and got a message that I have to verify the validity of the (GooglePlay) gift card by submitting front and back images, a receipt, location of purchase, etc. etc. AND that it can take up to 3 weeks to verify! I didn't bother as this has become more than ridiculous, through no action of my own. I'll likely uninstall/reinstall HD, but am hesitant with these issues going on with the play store.

So, on my way home just now, I thought, rather than uninstall and reinstall hd on my tablet, what if I install hd on my phone (while my main account is connected to GP) and see if I can make the purchase (as Frog pointed out). And sure enough it worked! Thank you Frog! 😘
