I am wondering if anyone knows what I should do about my mom's farm. She recently passed away and I don't want to abandon her 221 level farm where she, over all the years, spent a lot of money for. Are farms still connected to Emails? Can I change it to my Email? Can I add her farm to my SC ID without Email verification? I am thinking over the years this must have happened to others?

Oh, I'm very sorry to hear that. I can imagine how much her farm means to you in this situation.
Hope there will be a solution.
To your question: Every Farm has its own Supercell ID. So you can only connect one farm with the supercell ID. The only solution is that you can adopt her supercell ID.
Do you have any verifications for the farm? You wrote in the other thread (about new devices) that there was a problem in the past and you have to give so many varifications for this farm to supercell. Have you helped her and have you collected it?
Do you know with which mail address she had connected the farm? And do you have access to the mail? Or could you get access? Often the mail provider wants to have the handy number. So if you lost your password, they will send you a code to the handynumber and then you have access to your mail-account again.
If you have access to your mail or could get it with "password forgotten", than it will be easy to get her farm.

Other Idea and one more question.
Do you have her device and can get access to her farm on her device?

My condolences on your loss Eturtle.
I don't have the answer, but after reading about similar situations on the old forum, I would recommend you use caution in whatever you decide to do in order to not jeopardize your own farm(s) in the process. I hope there is a way where it will work out.

thank you all for your kind words and support. Let me tell you, no matter how old you are, it is hard losing mom. Squirr, thank you so much for taking the time to think this all through so thoroughly. So I understand, there will always be an email verification needed sooner or later. Right now I have her tablet, but this is just a matter of time. I have access to her email via her tablet, so not all is lost.

You're very welcome. It is a heartfelt wish and I only tried to help.
Yes, I agree with Tahoe. You should be carefull. The support isn't very good. And sometimes there are strange things happening. I read from users who didn't have access to their mail and contacted the support. And the support didn't help, but thought it is a deception and locked the farm. So contacting the support in this case is always a risk.
But you have her tablet at the moment. So I think it could work easily. I assume, that you have also access to her farm on this device?
For my own I haven't done this before, so I don't have experiences with this:
If you open her farm and than open her SC ID (the button "connected"). There you see her farm name with the avatar and right of this the rack-wheel for the settings.
Open the settings. There you see "logged in with" Here you have the option to "change email". I pressed it in my game and then the question appeared: Do you have access to this mail?
(Then I stopped) My suspicion is, that you than can change the email and for varification they send a code to the previous mail address.
I have never done this before. So perhaps some users here have experiences if this works without any problems.
But this would be the easiest way. Don't need any support. You only change the email address to once of yours. (You need one you haven't already used for your SC ID). And then the SC ID and her farm is yours.
Don't know if you have already more than one farm and if you have it on different devices or all on one device. If you need help, let us know.

squirrel, thank you for your help. I understand now what Tahoe meant, with being careful about losing my farm, so agreed, I will not contact support and I followed your suggestion to change the Email address. Well, this stress point is gone, thanks again everyone for all your help and support. Now my next dilemma... do I leave her farm as she left it, or do I work it and make it my own? gah!

No problem. Knowing that her farm is safed now is thanks enough. 😉
Your next dilemma is difficult. Don't know what I would do. But if you decide to work on it, I would safe her farm in one layout and keep this as a memory. But be aware: If you use a second layout to play on it and you buy new machines and plants, you can't activate the "memory layout" again until you have positioned the new things. But you always can have a look at her last design in the layout modus.
Or you can make some screenshots from her farm to safe it as she left it.

Whatever you decide, you should open the farm frequently. Don't know the time period. But if a farm is inactive for too long, SC can delete it.
You have to be careful. If you don't want to play, you should read the rules of SC to know how to keep the farm "active" for SC. Perhaps sometimes go and get the daily rewards and sometimes sell it to your farm.

Eturtle, I'm so sorry about your loss.
Some members will remember the lovely PetDragon, who was a Moderator of the official Supercell Forum, until her untimely death.
She is still missed by those of us who knew her. Her farm is still on my friends' list, and I can visit it whenever I want.
Although Supercell's rules talk about farms being removed if inactive, they don't seem to be very proactive on that. I suspect it's a term that's there to get them a getout if they need one, rather than a statement of automated action that takes place on a timescale.
I can see farms that have been inactive for years; I know of at least two where I am certain they have not been played since 2018, and they are still visible.
You've received some good advice from members here. I'd suggest you follow a cautious route with Support though; it might be better to keep your head down, rather than drawing attention to your Mom's farm.

Squirr, the tip to take screeen shots is great. I'll do that. I plan on keeping her farm alive, that's why I am going to change the email address to make sure I won't lose it. It will be just like one of my support farms, just a way higher level. Don't know about SC deleting inactive farms, a lady in our hood stopped playing 7 years ago and her farm is still there. (yes, I do keep records lol) Cowslips, I remember her and no, I don't need to contact support, I will treat mom's farm as one of my support farms. I am curious to see how long it takes for the ads to kick in (since she spent oodles of money on her farm she didn't have to watch the movie ticket ads.) Thanks everyone. And thank you for this forum, I am glad to have you all to talk to.
