Anybody noticed truck tasks asking for more and more? 56 honey or sugar? sure why not! I delete so many like this everyday. Getting a bit fed up.

Yes, I used to love trucks. I don’t anymore. I don’t know if this is a recent change or just that I’m a higher level now.
I’m level 103 and my barn is 3000 now. I think a few years ago when people had barns that could store 3000 items, there were probably 30% fewer items to produce, at least, lol.
I can still rarely store 9 of everything, with some things left on machines (it’s been the same for years) yet the trucks want bunches more.
It makes me want to hang on to every last item. My barn can be full and I’m having trouble deciding what to put in the RSS, lol. If send off one or two of something on a truck, the next order board requests more of the same thing. (This happens in town, too.)

Oh, I have noticed that, too. They get trashed so quick. Trashing only bothers me if I’m in the middle of a derby task. The rest of the time, I look at the truck board from time to time to clear out the ones I won’t do, or ask for help on.

I try to ensure that I have a full board of doable orders for a derby task and go from there.

I noticed this trend too. I took - as so often before - a truck task in the last derby. What a mistake that was. Normally I start and finish such a task in one setting, this time it took me almost two days. I have a big barn and yet I don't have space enough to store sufficiently many products for such a simple task. Too many different products, not enough space (you would think a barn size of 7000 would be big enough) and now all of a sudden ridiculously huge orders. Why would anyone want to sell 60 sugars or 25 butter bars? Just saying. The orders in the town has a much better balance.

Truck order and boat order, like many other stuff in Hay Day, is correlated to your XP level. The higher level you are, the more the game will ask for. The max and min number or items are generated with some formulas and paramaters taking into account your level, not your barn space nor silo space. It's a mecanism to try maintaining a balance between demand and offer in the game. Creating a need to upgrade barn/silo, to buy stuff you don't have, to sell extra stuff you made..... Otherwise, player would be stuck without being able to make space in barn/silo for further production (just like during some blossom derby that selling silo stuff is very slow, demand being much lower than offer).

I know the size of the orders increase with your level, but this is new. I've been on the same level (198) for some time, and yet the truck order demands have increased noticeable lately. I keep 15 items of each "easy" (i. e. pumpkin pie) product and 25 to 30 of each "difficult" (i. e. jam) product. I sell the products I have in excess to this. I have no limitations on "basic"(i. e. sugar) products. Yet I don't have enough products to fill most truck orders or the orders would reduce my stuck too much. In the current global truck order event I have so far fullfilled one order. ONE. I have deleted two full boards of orders and have now just given up on this event. I play for fun and having trouble even participating is so not fun.

l26I agree with everything you've said. I noticed the same. Due to farmpass I had to serve 20 truck orders. I dealt with it, but it was no fun. Since only 5 orders were missing to reach the globe I finished it as well. Afterwards I took a look on our current event status. We will fail, with certainty. That is no surprise. In my opinion a sign that many players are thinking alike. They are also not in the mood to waste valuable ressources for 10 measly diamonds.

I think I was wrong. I misjudged the time available. Seems as if we'll get the diamonds.

I had decided not to do the Truck Event, but then I saw this morning that the global level was met, so since I had all day today, I did the required 25 trucks and got the 10 diamonds. I really thought this would be an even that would not make it, nice surprise!

I play for fun and having trouble even participating is so not fun. Weird, I don't have the same experience and I regularly do boat and truck orders when I find one that is worth the XP, meaning I cannot find that much XP for the same products elsewhere. Yes, I know and can calculate the XP related to each product. Player perception of easy and hard product (how easy to make and find them in DD) is different than what the game considered as easy or hard (purely based on ressources to make them). For example, a single item order can ask for a lot of bread and popcorn although these are not always easy to buy nor player would have a great stock of it. The more easy to make a product, the higher amount the game will ask for. A sample truck order of me will have 3 to 5 items, 2 to 3 each. I have no problems filling them with my barn stock (barn size >7000). Some single item order would ask for a lot of one item but they don't come often and I could trash them. If I make products, they are going to be exchanged for coins or XP. Truck orders are one of my quick ways to accelerate this. I prefer not doing town. The higher the level, the more products required for truck orders. I guess I am just appropriately prepared to fill thoses at my level.

I noticed the issue of ridiculously large truck order requests yesterday while doing a derby task. One order requested 56 white sugar. Um, no.
