This is a rather old bug I'm going to talk about, but I never took the time to post a message here or on the old Hay Day forum until today.
The bug in question is: some time between September 2018 and August 2021 my farm was stripped of its Generous Neighbor III achievement. I was so happy to reach that goal in 2018 that I took several screenshots to keep track of that. So I'm 100% sure that I reached the 4000 donated object threshold on September 19th, 2018. For quite a while my achievements were complete: 144/144 (that was before they added new ones, presumably Go Nuts & Furry Friends).
For months (years?) I ended up not paying attention to my achievements. Then one day I noticed that I was missing one achievement. Wait, what? And it turned out it was Generous Neighbor, and I had to again donate 4000 objects! I never found the motivation to work with dedication toward this achievement, so I had 451/4000 in August 2021 and 17 months later I've barely reached 1256/4000. At this rate I will regain my achievement in 4 or 5 years  .
Did this happen to you? Do you remember this bug being discussed here or in the old forum?

Do you still have the tiles and the gate by the bird house?
And to get it finished, just ask your hood mates to request wheat if they don't actually need anything, took me about 6 months to get the achievement finished.

Happened to me too. The game still knows you have the achievement, because you still have the gate. It happened during one of the updates, lots of people lost one of their achievement. It seemed to be either the bingo one or the generous neighborhood one, so the two hardest to get. I didn't really try to get it again, I just donated when neighbors asked, but finally got the achievement again yesterday. |

This happened to me and I had to do it again  . I am now 3888/4000  . |

Same applies for me. Currently 3.313 from 4.000. I did some math. Provided if I serve every day 20 (2x10) requests from my babies I'm finished in 1 month and 5 days. Hopefully it stays this time.  |

Good point Warios, I didn't notice that I indeed still had the "reward" for completing this achievement on my main farm. Actually the weird part is that I can see the green flowery arch on my baby farm too, but I don't remember ever completing Generous Neighbor III on this farm. Oh well...
