Okay so will someone please explain the deal with people buying everything just for the visitor event?? Don't get me wrong, I Love that they're buying everything! I just don't understand. How it's always been for me at least is the visitors ask for what I have the most of, second most of, and none of. They don't even ask for things like blankets do they? So why are people in a frenzy to buy items like that? And with other common things, are they just trying to get the most of something in their barns so visitors will ask for it? Or maybe my barn and silo have been askew for 100+ levels?!

With the visitors offering 2x coin, if say blankets or diamond rings were a players #1 or 2 item in their barn, they could make some serious coin.

Thank you Momscar. That makes sense. I wish I had that many blankets in my barn or that much money to buy a ton! But for now I will sell the small amount I can get from Tom.I have another question that hopefully someone can clear up for me. I know shopping in the DD can be crazy, such as today. What I'm wondering is how people can get to ads so quickly? So, just testing over the last few weeks, I go to the very first ad I see on the very first page. The item listed for sale is gone AND the help flag is gone too, if there was one. This happens so much. I would really like to know how to be this fast?? I couldn't even get a slot of corn to buy earlier. Is there some secrets to it? I would love to know!

Maybe fast internet, fast mobile devices. Or just luck.

That will give you best change.

Thank you ducktown and kanta. I do try to open it as soon as it refreshes. I think, as kanta said, it must be luck. It Has to be! I have a fast internet and a good tablet. I thought maybe using my phone would be faster so I tried it for the first time and it's even worse! Maybe, too, I'm just too old to be so fast!

Oops! My bad. Now that you mention the the jewelry, I’ve never had them ask for metal bars or ore either. But they sure do like to fool you into selling saws, hatchets, and mining picks. 😂

I have to add something. There are certain hours, late European evening, where it is nearly impossible for me to buy from the daily dirt. There are some hours in the morning where it feels like, all shops are only there for me. Maybe you make similar experiences, ClassyCats.

Apologies for the delayed response kanta! I've had a bit of a health hiccup. YES I completely agree. Actually I'll say anytime during the day hours of North America (I'm on central daylight savings time) it is pretty impossible for me to get those items that are most sought. Even if it's corn! I find the best shopping for me is done after North Americans have mostly gone to sleep, around 1 to 4am. 1am central is 6am UTC, just fyi. I had to Google that. 😋 Its crazy!
