I wish they would PLEASE fix the events schedule that they give to us! This week is entirely wrong. It is SO annoying. You can't plan at all and may even unnecessarily lose sleep (I'm guilty of this)! It would be very nice if they would send us the Correct schedule of events!

Apologies for the late reply @classycats. Please be sure to check the Dashboard for information that SC may have posted on Twitter. There was a post about the event changes for this week. I, too, also wish that they could change the in-game event announcement.
IIRC, the in game announcements are often timed in advance and cannot be changed easily.
