you tap on a machine, then when the products show, it will tell you how many you have without having to tap it?
The reason is, sometimes, I just want to check how many say, vanilla ice cream I have. I guess it depends on how hard I tap, but sometimes, it accidentally gets in line for production. This is so frustrating especially with products like jam where it takes hours to produce.
Just venting.

This same complaint has been stated before in some other thread. I agree it can be too easy to accidentally start making a product when you just want to see how many you have. The tip I can give you is when you tap an item to check it's total, tap - hold - slide your finger AWAY from the machine, then let go when you see the number while you're still away from the machine.

Sometimes I want to see how many I have in line when Iβm stacking products. It only shows 9 items and if I need say, 13, I donβt know whether I have 10 or 20 sitting there, or how much time it will take to finish making the 13.
The number doesnβt show in the barn, but I canβt check the machine without pulling things off of it. (Unless the barn is full or I purposely fill it, and then I have to refill it after *each item if need be.)
Itβs always been that way as far as I know, but itβs one really annoying thing that I feel should be able to be fixed *somehow.
Same as OP. I go to check an amount and accidentally collect one, so have to line up another and wait another hour or two or 8. π

Yes! This is a pain for me too! Lol..... and say I am stacking for the Brunch basket... did I get the 12 bacon and eggs going? Or, I know I did the bacon and eggs but can't remember how many baked potatoes I did...
So glad it isn't just me! Lol

I tried the sliding your finger away method. I did it for bread so if it fails, oh well. So far, it works!

It should work every time as long as you keep that finger slid away from the machine! If you have a pile of stuff you don't want to collect due to stocking up for an event or something, touching the machine in any way will cause you to collect whatever is sitting there though.

What I have noticed is that these accidents do not happen in the feed mill, sugar mill, and dairy. Especially for the feed mill where I have to drag the item in the box.
