Chris and Ice (Supercell Community Managers) have asked for feedback from members of this forum with regard to Hay Day's 10th Birthday.
We are now approaching the end of the celebrations. Whilst there have been various threads running on different topics, let's use this thread to bring together our comments into one place.
Chris and Ice ask "What did the Players like about the Birthday? Social Posts, Video, Events/Rewards?"
It will be helpful if you explain why you liked (or did not like) a particular aspect of the celebrations. Details of your farm level and style of play could help to set the context.
Once again this is a great opportunity for members to communicate directly with Supercell, and the Admin Team is very grateful to the CMs for supporting our forum in this way.
As always, please keep discussions civil and polite at all times! Please respect others' views and comments, even if you don't agree with them.
Please be mindful that making a suggestion here does not guarantee that it will be implemented.
Thank you; we look forward to seeing what is said.

Level 127 playing since 2013 with a long gap in there due to work until I retired. This is my favorite game and I fully support this game financially. (You guys like to eat and have a roof over your head just like us players). I have 2 farms, the other is level 75.
I felt things were a bit confusing at times. The time capsule took a bit to figure out.
Greatly enjoyed gift searching on Greg's farm, however a bit disappointed in final prize.
The fishing event was fun. The prize of mystery nets showed me that it is foolish to purchase them as paying diamonds for 3 fish and a mallet, or 2 fish and a piece of silver ore, or 1 fish and a saw just does not make sense. But for free nets, I can't complain lol.
The very bright colors for the house was a bit "in your face" loud, so did not purchase it. Glad some liked it however.
I love the ferris wheel and am thrilled I was able to make a place for it in my town park. Had to move shops a lot closer together, and put lots of stuff in storage, but I managed to get it in the park. Please please add more shops, more visitors, children townies, and enlarge/expand the town space/size. Please.
Overall, on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being blech, and 10 being outstanding, I rate the celebration a 6. This is because, after all the build up, I expected more decor, better prizes, and something new and different.

Farm level 150, town level 48, Hay Day player since 2014
1. I liked the ‘country fair’ themed deco and appreciated that I could buy house, truck, and RSS items for coins and vouchers at very reasonable cost. I think an effort was made to ensure that even new players that might not have coin reserve would be able to purchase something, if they wanted to.
2. I always like Greg’s gift boxes. Looking at the cool deco on his farm is half the fun! Plus, permits and gold vouchers are are alway welcome!
3. The 10 mystery net prize was awesome and welcome. I never have made a mystery net, because as save my diamonds for machine expansion. So I appreciate the chance to get some of the special deco without spending diamonds.
4. I don’t like truck events, and usually ignore them, but I did participate in the birthday truck because I liked the idea of supporting real life farmers. So the truck event, and selling to visitors a were my least favorite.
5. Overall, I thought the birthday celebration was great. It was fun having different events over the course of the month and I appreciated the prizes of permits, diamonds and gold vouchers.

Kind of player? Casual, but daily player with limited time who still tries to do everything I can, with a single farm. Feedback? To start, I’ll state the obvious. The 10th birthday is HUGE— congrats to Team HD! 🍰 😊🎉🎉🎉😊🍰 There was a lot of excitement in the air, and I think a lot of the fun is derived from that. The fair theme was a great choice, imo! It has been much talked-about, probably for years, iirc. Lasting the whole month of June, the red-white-and blue colours seemed timed to fit perfectly with the US celebrations on July 4. People celebrating that might even keep their deco up the few extra days longer than others might, just for that. As was noted before though, some of the red/blue was just too saturated and too much, imo. A little more white on the house, maybe? But that’s done, so…. The red/blue is also kind of funny-looking with the other birthday deco, like the orange, pink and yellow balloons, etc. Of course it’s nice to have a different choice of colors for celebrations! 😊 But then I feel like there needs to be quite a bit with a matching color scheme to make it work. The Ferris Wheel was really cool, and the good number of (mostly white) fences helped, as would the carnival games, etc, I was actually half-hoping for a few little bunches of red white and blue balloons, lol. Anyway, this made me really want to get those current deco. What’s a country fair without the carnival games? But now add the cost to get the set…. For me it’s close to $50.00 In a time of unprecedented inflation probably globally, I’ve already spent more on the games this month than I usually would in a couple of months, it feels like. (Clash included, with its birthday recently, seasons pass, now summer deco—I wish that could have waited until July rather than hitting at the same time as HD’s big thing, for those of us who play both.) So I was really hoping that more of these carnival items would be derby rewards, event rewards, gifts from Greg, nets, etc. I’m enjoying most of what has come up, but like others was kind of surprised to see (in the case of old deco being brought back), a somewhat plain-ish one with the beach umbrella picnic thing. Have people requested that one a lot and I just missed seeing it? It seems an odd choice for a time capsule, which is to try to preserve kind of “defining” elements of a time and I wonder why they chose that. I was thrilled 😃 to see the hot air balloon in the farm pass because I couldn’t get it before. I’m hoping as others have said, that some of the current diamond deco might come back in future months via the pass. So now it’s a matter of decision—I think I still want to get at least one of them now, so…which one will most likely result in me having two different ones later, instead of two of the same? Or will it all be “exclusive, exclusive” because it’s the 10th birthday event, in which case I’ll only have whichever one I choose now. Bleh. Will it be chicken tent all over again, which I cannot get my hands on for the life of me? 😢 I wish we could get a choice (not “chance”, but actual choice) between say, one of three older decos for an end of the road reward or something like that. Hey, carnival games let you choose what prize you want, (given a specific size). 🐮 We saw a lot of cute things from Greg just prior to the birthday (or very early?) with the chicken/sport balls, snail race, horse race, and bucking bronco chicken. Really cute. 😊. Only managed one of those, in spite of shuffling derby rewards, etc. We shall see what happens tomorrow. Fingers crossed that it isn’t more gnomes. (I like them but thought there were more of them, but the ones that come up for me have all been repeats for a while.) Why * did Greg have 8 gifts for a 10th birthday? The wheel of fortune. I’ve seen the coloured path, a scroll, a puzzle, and a few such things I had hoped to get, up there. No olympic paths, cactus fences, southwest style fences, etc. Didn’t get *any of those—even with a couple of added spins. So that was, meh…. Some things I could sell for coin, so that was ok, others I couldn’t really use at all, as usual. Even EMs as gifts. I usualy love those, but my space is limited so I’m saving up barn ones while selling the rest to make room. It kind of lessens the fun of getting 4 marker stakes when I can’t keep them but know I will need them in a while, lol. Scrolls…I need a LOT of them for the next pieces of land I want to open. It’s literally taking a couple of months to open a single plot, even though I try to do everything I can in the game. I miss a few derbies, but this month I’m going out of my way to try do most of them, in the hopes of yes, deco and permits, etc. So when I put in that extra time and get rewards I already have or can’t use, it’s….less fun. (Well, I *think 12 more champs derbies and I’ll have that one finished, lol.). I like the diamonds in the valley, but will likely have to give those up to get the scrolls and puzzle pieces. Three offered, but chicken valley, so….won’t be able to get both. So again, the diamond deco helps there, but it’s all giving me a “wallet-ache”, lol. Would be nice to have *all of the rare things, less rare if only for this month… …Like the mystery nets. That was a nice (and different) surprise. 😊 I got the cannon from the first set of five I dropped. 😊 The global events…nice to see some changed up (town), and as a friend said on another thread, SC did a good job making an event they don’t usually do (trucks?) one that they felt was worthwhile. Thanks also, for making sure the goal was reasonable. If people worked hard at that and didn’t get the mark….well, we’ve seen the disappointment with that before but for the tenth birthday month, it would have been a disaster. So good calculating there. 😊 Oh, finally got one of the cute rustic decos from a gift card mystery package. Don’t know whether that’s a birthday thing or not, but here’s hoping that continues to happen from time to time. 😊 Thanks for an overall fun event, with a little way to go, yet.

Thank you for asking for the feedback. I am level 226, town level 66 and play most days. I do have a baby farm, level 40 something but I really only open it if we need extra town visitors. I don’t have time to play two farms. I am not on social media at all nor am I interested in that area.
I liked the overall concept of the celebrations but I did not like Maggie’s offerings. They were more a USA theme I thought and as an Aussie they did not appeal to me. Nor did I feel they fitted into my farm. However I am glad others liked them. I did purchase the life buoy decor but that was all. The fair ground decor was quite expensive and I did not need diamonds so I didn’t buy any of those. I am starting to find that much of the decor I like or have purchased appears in the farm pass.
I appreciated the gifts on Greg’s farm, especially the land permits, not so much the seemingly inevitable Rosie and Ernie boosters as I don use them and really only keep them to swap out for any others . I have more boosters stored (for free) than I can use. The beach umbrella decor was a bit disappointing as I already have several of those.
The global events have been great and so nice to see the town involved as I feel it is neglected. The town, not the sanctuary which is full of permanently sleeping animals. The mystery nets were a good idea but so far I have not had any decor or special items appear in them.
I will probably think of other things so may edit this later. Thanks again for this opportunity.

Lvl 224, lvl 190 (and some farms above lvl 130 and below lvl 84 - not playing with them anymore). Causal - taking long breaks for the last years, and recently I have become freemium player.
Greatly appreciated that our feedback is asked but I am really not sure whose feedback (which group of players) is taken into account if feedback is ever taken into account; high level players (?), players that spend astronomical amount of money on the game (?), newly starting players (?) - I don't know. The reason why I am wondering is that I and some players do have the impression that the feedback that points a common wish and/or an improvement is ignored (I am underlining “common”). Example, permits. Considering that permit events are gone (they were mostly boat events) and that the valley rewards are a matter of luck, many players are asking for permits in the farm pass (feedback), since the updates are basically the introduction of machines which requires land, in addition to that deco requires land. However, what was done in the farm pass is that the permit has been taken out of the free path, leaving 3 permits in total and in the paid path (instead of increasing the number of permits which could have been done by giving the players the option to choose, just like could have been done for XP and coin).
Anyway, my feedback is below - I may perhaps add/detail later:
- Overall, insignificant birthday event that represents the deteriorating care for the game, and exaggerated birthday event announcements on social media considering that most rewards have been insignificant - ordinary rewards (disappointing as not every game can hit the 10th year).
- A few individual rewards were very nice (e.g., the ferris).
- I like the idea of the involvement of the visitors in an event. I think I would love to see the visitors involved in the events in the future.
- I like the given time - it has not been stressful for those who are working or who have other daily engagements.
The below is just the ones that come to my mind now. If one thinks, many good and nice suggestions can surely be made:
* A number of permits that would open a big piece of land could have been given. * One of the mystery nets could have guaranteed a rare deco. * The deco and diamond bundle (e.g., dunk tank) could have been offered as reward.

Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to give some feedback! I am a very active every day player and at level 130. My feedback is below:
-I loved the 10th birthday celebration and it’s quite a milestone! I was thrilled Supercell planned a month-long party for us to have fun and participate in.
-The diamonds, golden tickets, fence posts, fishing nets, Ferris Wheel, and Greg’s presents were all awesome and generous! The Ferris Wheel is my favorite! That is an amazing deco and the fact you let us earn it made it more fun!
- I love the new Derby prizes, the hilarious bronco chicken, snail race, and sport basket are so cute! I have gotten all but the hobby horse race. Greg’s is the only farm I have seen it on. I keep spending diamonds hoping, but it does not appear in any of the horseshoe lines so far for me or anyone in my neighborhood.
-The town being included was nice and lots of fun! I would love to see the town expand and maybe let us build a boardwalk with more rides and perhaps a marina. That would bring tourism and growth to our towns and hopefully new townies and buildings would follow. The town is a favorite part of the game besides the farm animals to me.
-The truck event was so much fun and for a wonderful cause. I am proud to be playing a game that cares about the environment. I think this was a beautiful thing Supercell did in helping farmers to grow organic, healthy food.
-The country fair theme was so perfect for a game like Hay Day since fairs always involve farm animals, games, cooked/baked food, and crops. The history of fairs goes back many years and is a huge tradition every Summer! I do wish it would have included some decos for the fair regarding pie contests, cakes, or crops like biggest pumpkin contest, etc. Farming themed things that are seen at fairs like a pie table with first, second, and third place pies/cakes, etc for example. I hope Hay Day sees this as an opportunity to include a fair season every year even if it’s not tied to a birthday event. Fairs and farming go together! It would be something for all the players to get ready for and to look forward to every summer!
Thanks again and Happy 10th birthday to Hay Day! 🎂🎈🎉

Finally my thoughts to the above theme. I play every day, my main farm is level 163, town level 52. I'm committed to play stressless, without pressure. I prefer serving townies always and with everything they want and I avoid mostly ship and truck orders, hence. In addition I'm fastidious with derby by selecting only those, which suit me. I'm a player who rarely asks for help, I prefer to manage all requests by myself. Those I don't like will be deleted, I don't expect those orders to be fulfilled from someone else. Basically I was very excited when I heard and read the first time about a 10 year anniversary. Remember that, 10 years for a game. That is something, I think! Subsequent many expectations were raised by SC, we got many announcements as well. Like Lily77 stated already, sometimes it was over the top. I truly believe that SC put much time and energy in all occurring events, and I appreciate the work for this. It seems to work, we got a big hit - 50 diamonds - as the first present. Awesome! The event for the farm visitors was for a greater good, so of course very appreciated as well. The far theme event was/is nice, I loved it. The colors were a little bit too much eye-catching with red and blue. Nevertheless I bought it for my babyfarm. It's very nice. Additional we got the wheel ferris, nothing to complain, just the opposite. Great! The gift picking on Gregs farm was at first very good, especially the diamonds, the permit and the chicken voucher. However, the Ernest, Rose and Tom booster were a little bit disappointing, as already mentioned. It's nothing special for a 10th birthday event, and in my opinion it didn't fit the event. The last reward was disappointing, too. Why given an old sun-umbrella deco? The town event was my personal favorite event, as I love the town. The rewards (diamonds) in the thresholds were great, too. The idea with the fishing event was also well-thought-out, due to the possibility to complete the fish-book with rare fishes and gaining diamonds. 10 Mystery nets as a reward is very nice, but the outcome was mostly a sad one. I refer again to Lily77 who stated that SC could have given 1 guarantee for 1 (!) nice deco at least. As it stands it was mostly a waste of time. Ok, you can't have your cake and eat it. Obviously. Conclusion:Overall it was ok, but not outstanding. I quote greenleaf at this point: "Overall, on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 bring blech, and 10 being outstanding, I rate the celebration a 6. This is because I expected more decor, better prizes, and something new and different".FullAck!

Single farm player. Level 194 (I think... or 195) , town approx. level 50. Play most days once or twice and has done so for the last nine years. Obviously I need to get my head checked for a serious HD addiction. 😇
Loved the start. Diamonds are always appreciated and 50 was almost overwhelming. Thank you. 💎
The new machine was so not needed. It makes the lack of balance between supply and demand even worse. 😱
The rest of the activities were a bit bland IMO and something not too special for the birthday. The events were something we had tried before, if that explains was I am trying to say.
I had trouble finding the gifts on Gregs farm. My eyesight (despite glasses) is not the best, so that was probably only a very personal problem for me and not a general issue.
I was a bit sad, that most new decorations (as per usual) were pay for. Not really all that much birthday vibe or celebration there. Unless you splashed the cash.
The house, RSS and truck decorations were not really in my taste. It was too much and had a very 4th. of July vibe, that was a bit over the top for me. However I loved the ferris-wheel depite it too being a bit of a design disaster IMO.
I look forward to the cake! 🍰
All in all I wasn't overwhelmed, but it was an okay celebration, and I think, it hit the spot for a lot of the farmers. Thank you for trying to make it an enjoyable birthday celebration. Your effort is appreciated. 👏❤️

Chris and Ice ask "What did the Players like about the Birthday? Social Posts, Video, Events/Rewards?"
1st and foremost CONGRATULATIONS! 10 years! I liked that you thought about the celebration and shared with the farmers! Yes 50 Diamonds! Awesome!
I play everyday, since the pandemic, I’m at level 96, like others I do town, puzzle boats and trucks when needed (I’m trying to slow my level up because no room in barn or silo! The wood panels were everywhere just a short time ago, they’ve since dried up!!)
I liked the colors! They stand out and that blue is great!
I liked I could watch YouTube video to see hints and excitement!
Events - well thought out…. I don’t know how to find those rare fish, is there an algorithm and I’m not fishing enough? (I got more than 150#s!). 10 mystery nets, I’ve used only 6 or so in the past and never anything special…are decos a possibility? Those are 2 areas I’d like to see
Reward - I like when you give more than one fence post. I have no idea why they don’t at least come in pairs btw. The Ferris Wheel makes me want more decorations! But please, be aware sometimes fast motion (ie windmills) can cause motion sickness! 🤪crazy I know!
Please realize your creative features of more machines, crops products, = = less and less space in barns and silos, please consider a barn just for expansion materials (or any other solution)

10 years is an amazing milestone so Big Congratulations to the Supercell team for that!
About my farm for reference;
•Level 144 farm/41 town •Player for 8 years •I Play solo but do have 2 fairly new 'baby farms' lv26 & lv38 •Not personally on twitter or Facebook (But I have Googled to find specific hayday info on both of those platforms) •I do usually glance at redknight on Youtube to get hayday info •I don't play to gain levels anymore, I play to expand, design and decorate, I generally prefer the natural looking decos, verdant is basically the general aim for my farm
My personal opinions on the events;
☆50 diamonds was a strong opener that set high expectations for the rest to come
☆The truck event had an obviously nice rl benefit (well done indeed for that) The end reward of a few fence pieces was, for me, a bit forgettable but only because it didn't fit my style
☆The cookbook event was a tad odd, a 2 day event for something that happened in the first few minutes of gameplay but I understand it was so everyone had a chance to get the deco!
☆The balloon hat is certainly cute, (great snapshot of teeny sheep!) In game hats are not something I generally choose to use, but I'm sure many do
☆Maggies bday deco options where bright & festive but right after the fiasco of losing and having to buy back my 'norm' designs there was no way I was willing to do that again so soon and redecorating house, truck & rss for seasons/events is not generally my thing
(A "buy to bank, not build" option however would be greatly appreciated in order to fill the book without ever losing a preferred look)
☆It was a nice change to have the town included and the ferris wheel itself is definitely impressive, nicely done on the animation for that one!
(The mystery derby that ran alongside that event did make it slightly more akward play wise)
☆The gift boxes are always fun to find and unwrap (the far right of Gregs farm still seems to be a gift black spot) although I have to ask why 8 boxes not 10 for the 10th anniversary? 😅
The final giftbox of the picnic parasol was surprising in that it isn't new and seems completely unconnected to the bday events as a whole
☆I have 3x the amount of gold vouchers as any other ticket due to lack of spending options for my particular green style but I'm sure they helped many other farmers out!
☆It's nice to have a fishing event in the mix, adds a nice variety vs back to back truck and boat events
Mystery nets where fun, not something I ever buy in game so a novelty for me
☆The cake event tomorrow seems like it will be a stress free finish to it all with an easily obtained cake (hopefully not famous last words 🤣)
~~All in all; It is always nice to receive a few freebies It's nice that the town and fishing area got involved
I personally would have loved a full month of generously filled Gregs boxes like at Christmas but for this one off 10th anniversary...
...but that's probably just because I'm greedy 😆
Cheers for reading if you've got this far 😁👋

Overall I loved the events. Oh, level 167, playing since 2013 with a hiatus of some years when work got crazy but back with a vengeance now since retirement last year. I have some baby farms too, levels 42-116. I can’t remember all of the events but I loved the multiple events spanning years birthday month. The names of some of the events were kinda confusing vs what actually happened during them but that’s no biggie. I LOVED the truck event and LOVE LOVE LOVE the Ferris wheel. It didn’t buy Maggie's theme decos because it would be too much of a hassle getting back to my perma-fave designs. In future, perhaps an option to revert with one click post-event would be nice and encourage more of us to put up the event deco. The Greg event was nice, esp the scrolls, puzzle pieces, and voucher. I'm okay with the picnic deco as I didn’t have it on some of my baby farms. And have 2 on my main farm is fine with me. I liked the mystery nets as something different for the fishing event and look forward to using them. I appreciated that there was lots of time to fish (and truck for that matter), bc I hate fishing and it took me a while to fish on all my farms. (Trucks we’re done pretty much asap tho 💕). I also like the hay day cookbook and downloaded it to my iBooks. Very cute idea!! That’s all I can think of right now. Thanks for a great event.

🎉🎉🎉Happy Birthday!🎉🎉🎉
I am a level 211, started playing late 2013 and haven’t missed too many days since then.
I think this birthday celebration month has been spot on. There has been a story behind the events, and a few new events. Something for every play style to enjoy. For the most part the event prizes were most generous, and global goals were attainable.
Thanks for all the years!

Agreed with Mom’sCar . Despite all criticism it's important to point out how lucky we are to be able to play HayDay for such a long time. It's not self-evident, all the more to be appreciated. Thank you for this!

Thank you for a truly amazingly fun game that has been around for 10 years! That says a lot about player commitment to a wonderful game!

Happy 10th Birthday Day 🥳 !! I am a level 188 farm & have been playing 7 years. I play daily, but sometimes in short bursts, I find it a great way to de stress from my sometimes stressful job ( nurse !!). It’s the only game I play. My favourite thing is to redecorate & redesign my farm & town which I re do every couple of weeks 😂. So the best part of the Birthday celebrations for me were the deco. I LOVE Maggie & loved her Birthday designs, & have now mixed them up for an individual look. Also loved the cake & Ferris wheel. I wasn’t so keen on the diamond birthday deco & only bought one of them even though I buy diamonds. I agree with others that Greg’s birthday gifts started off well, but there should have been 10, and would have been nice to have a birthday themed final prize. The digital cook book is fantastic. I enjoyed the global events & the rewards. Also the farm pass - which has been a great addition to the game. I think the Birthday celebration was an overall success & lots of fun !

greenleaf kanta is right. I made the same experience with my tablet, and it's a fast one. ( Samsung Galaxy S7+) It takes some time until all pages are loaded. Give it a new try and be patient, this will work.

Good Morning ! Thank you all for your time and effort to share your opinions here with us. We really appreciate it and it helps us to keep Hay Day exciting and creative. We will use the days also after the big day (21 June) to read and analyze all your great feedback here. Thanks again! ~Chris As you wish, Chris. And Happy Tenth Birthday to Hay Day. Congratulations to the Supercellians who contributed and will contribute to the game's success and longevity. I'm glad they were acknowledged in the team photo inserted in the Hay Day Online Cookbook. www.youtube.com/watch?v=nj2jb7H6QskAfter viewing the above introductory celebration video published by Supercell on May 21, 2022, I wondered why Team Hay Day is trying to gaslight me? ;-) All kidding aside, sadly for me, I've experienced cognitive dissonance because of the following observations. Specifically, the video's usage of primary colors confuses me. Since HD is developed and published by Supercell whose HQ is based in Finland, I wonder why Cammie looks like a female version of Uncle Sam. The red and white bunting in the background suggests the celebration of Independence Day in the United States or Opening Day for Major League Baseball. My mind coped with the anomaly by seeing Cammie dressed in blue and white attire. I like the in game News Tab listing the items in the Time Capsule. I was excited about getting a large diamond but more excited when we received 50 small diamonds instead. About the Item Two, the Measuring Tape, I was searching for it in my decorations tab and couldn't find it. Several searches later, I learned that by us reaching the global goal for trucks, "Hay Day will make a donation to Rodale Institute, our non-profit partner, to help real-life farmers learn to create healthier soil to grow healthier food". Super cool. As for Item Five, Maggie's Magical Paintbush: I really like this because it allowed me to change my house, truck, and shop to the Birthday Theme which I'll also use to celebrate Independence Day in the U.S. And finally, I like the ferris wheel and the 10 layer cake decorations. ==LynnK==

Thank you SC I have enjoyed all of the birthday. The variety was good in that all aspects of the farm were included, town, fish, spin the wheel, trucks, maggie etc. Also there was realistic time given for each event no matter what level. The rewards were good for the events. Cook book is a nice bonus
Even the chicken Valley gave more tokens than usual at each stop. Hope this bit continues
The last present on Gregs farm was a great idea, families often picnic when going to a fair so very appropriate. I have been looking for that deco for months in the shop to add to the ones I have bought previously. So annoyed that I forgot to check Greggs farm for the last item so missed picking it up! Perhaps it will return to the shop soon?
The colourful house, truck and shop were good for the party, not my usual colours but did get them and it was nice to see most farms joined in, It felt as if everyone was at the party. Bought the chicks on the maypole, they are funny, just enough movement, not distracting
The whole birthday has reinvigorated my enjoyment of the game, even the fishing.
A big thank you to all the staff who made it happen so seamlessly.
(main farm is level 115, second farm is level 56 and mainly used as backup for soy sauce, jam, juices etc so did not join the party)
