I have two birds, one toucan and one peacock. I've noticed something strange when I feed them and wake them up. I put in two pieces of food, but the "wake-up whistle" doesn't automatically popup. It just switches from the food options (e.g., fish, soybeans and strawberries) to a blank "funnel". I need to click somewhere else and reclick on the birdhouse before the wake-up whistle appears. For all of the other pets it automatically switches from the food to the wake-up whistle. Anyone else have this happen? I am level 124, iPad.

Feeding at the birdhouse is rather different to feeding other pets. You have one feed bucket for all of the birds - they queue up (rather impatiently) and take turns to eat. You can put several different types of food into the bucket, and you can put up to 10 in before the bucket is full. That has an effect on the whistle. If you do put 10 items in (or however many you need if the bucket already contains items) the whistle will appear. If you don't fill the bucket you can get to the whistle by scrolling through the pages of food items until it appears on the third page. I hope this helps. |

Thanks for the info. I feed until the food choices disappear. Then it is just blank. I need to click elsewhere before there is the option to click on the whistle. Seems awkward.

I just added a bird on my baby farm, and the feeder works just fine. It switches to the whistle automatically. I think my main farm has an issue since I was able to get an extra bird (a peacock) for some reason when I got my first bird (toucan). I am not sure the feeder is responding correctly to my "bonus" bird. Whatever the reason, it's ok since I have an extra peacock without having to wait for the free farm pass chick vouchers.
