The leader in the Townie event has completed 14700 townies. They only have three buildings and five townie slots. They are a solo player and have no personal train. The event has been running 63 hours. That’s 3.9 townies a minute every minute. Mind boggling.

I don’t even look at the leader boards anymore. Mostly when you see something like this, it’s because the player has a goal of being at the top of the leader board. Often times they have chosen to use diamonds to achieve that goal. Fortunately, many players that cannot or will not spend diamonds on a global event also benefit from that players choice. Last I looked, we were up to 97,000,000. I’m quite confident that the goal will be met, and all participants will have the new Ferris wheel.

But when I was searching something about derby and rewards, I saw on the internet (e.g., reddit) that such "impossible" farms may likely be hacking, while some are legit. What you are stating is also an impossible thing in my opinion even if one spends thousand diamonds as food will not be enough to say the least (unless buying from third party which is certainly breach of the terms). We will never know for certain - whatever such farms are, as long as they do not hurt normal players and take (steal) BEMs, SEMs and food from their stands as happened before, it should be Supercell's problem. See reddit if interested - there are good discussions about such farms. In any case, we will make it. Such "impossible" farms do contribute a lot.

I also don't pay attention, but I looked. I think that was for the truck event not townie event that is taking place this week.

It’s for almost every event. If you look at the top contributors list and click on there farm to see the layout and given the time you need te reach something it’s impossible. Looking at the average time needed to fill boats, trucks or even townies and wait for another one to come (even with the use of diamonds), not possible.

I agree with you. I also don't care about those farms as long as they don't interfere with "stealing" from our RSS. As it stands that their goal in such short time is impossible I go with the opinion from Lily77. Those farms can't be "normal". On the other hand, who cares? It's completely up to SC to act. If they don't, well, it's their business. This shouldn't bother us.

Hayville, you are right, that should be for truck.
Still it is impossible as it would require app. 2940 trucks per days. Even the most "dedicated" players's average seems to be app. 1400 trucks per day if I got it correct.
I find it strange and also funny, as like anyone, Supercell can see these impossible farms, but not banned or something, they are there and they will very likely continue to be there. As said, I don't mind as long as such hacked farms don't hurt the games of players who have been playing legitly.

Those farms contribute in a big way for the whole HD community to reach the global goals needed. 😉

Whoever/whatever is behind creating or running such event farms is doing a good job in terms of contribution. I would be fine even with a farm below level 34 happens to be a top contributor in the town event (mission impossible accomplished) as long as they do not hurt our games.
