Does anyone know if I can collect puzzle pieces while waiting to rebuild the sanctuary?

You only start collecting pieces when there is a puzzle to fill in
And that only happens once the book is opened
But it only takes 4 hours to 'fix' it so not that long to wait!

Well darn. Still waiting for the train to repair so I can access my baby farm's town. Looks like I am going to miss the Puzzle Boat Event this week. Thanks for answering my question so I don't waste time completing puzzle boats!

I not long ago opened a baby farms town up too and it had been so long I didn't realise you also had to;
Get the town reputation to level 3
And;
Open at least one piece of land in town that borders the river separating town from sanctuary to the right hand side
Before you can even pay to repair the puzzle book
To be fair I've not bothered sending boats on that baby farm or made any real attempt to secure puzzle pieces for it 😅
