My level 54 baby farm is just for dairy and other products, so I haven't repaired the town railroad. Right now I have a 50 point farm pass task that requires me to open 5 mystery crates in town. I have been to 50+ towns from my neighborhood and in the newspaper, but none of them have mystery crates. Why no town mystery crates? My main farm finds mystery crates all the time in other towns. I just started repairing by baby farm train to see if that allows me to find town mystery crates.

Ok, mini no town visited about 20 towns of friends, hoodies and DD peeps. Not one crate. Switched to main farm with town and found a crate first try. So, maybe they are not available if your town isn't open? If that's the case, this should go in the Things You Didn't Know You Didn't Know thread! Although I do suspect others may already know the answer and will post. |

UPDATE: I now have mystery crates on my baby farm's town. In addition to restoring the train and putting in the grocery store, I also had to expand one area. I didn't get any crates until I expanded one area to connect to the sanctuary.
