I do wonder though if this should have its own area, outside of general? I know at the SC forum it was under general though. This is just a thought, in case the wonderful admins think this might belong better in its own Trading sub-forum, where there is a trading thread, and perhaps other general related discussion threads? I don’t know! I am just thinking out loud, inspired by the imaginings of others.
Whatever you all do here is great though. I’m so glad you are archiving the knowledge on the old, official forum! And, giving us a space to connect and share about the game - and life - moving forward.

JL, I personally don't do this type of trading, but from what I understand, players post what they need and what they will trade for it, then give their farm tags on kik (a messenger app) and arrange the specific details of the trade (like who sells first and for how much, etc.) Trading with others has always been at your own risk though, so be sure you trust those you are trading with! |

You have to be careful with KIK. There are risks about misuse of the app.
If you have the possibility try to trade with your NH, or with "well-known" farmers in this forum. Meanwhile here are many farmers who were registered in the "old" Supercell-forum. I see these as trustworthy. Only problem is, that it takes time to build trust.
But I would prefer this alternative, because it's more safe. You don't have to use an unsafe messenger app but you can contact your trading partner via PN in this forum.
