Anyone know what happened to the Easter egg hunt on Greg’s farm? I thought for sure it would have started this week. I’m kind of bummed.

Question from me... Do you decorate for Easter? As far as I'm concerned, I don't. I was never fond of Easter in general and I'm not in the mood to decorate for only a few days, that's too much effort for little use in my opinion. But I understand there are different approaches, therefore I'm curious, too. Do you decorate your farm easterly? If yes, how do you manage it? I mean, do you spread the deco over the whole farm, or do you prefer a special corner for this issue? For how long does the Easter deco stay on your farm?

I have a few Easter deco items and yes I do put them out over a few spots on the farm. They go away straight after Easter Day though.

I only have a few Easter decos, and I do display them, but only for a few days. I really enjoy seeing other farms with Easter. Deco, though.

You created some beautiful spots, awesome. I only have a few Easter decos, and I do display them, but only for a few days. I really enjoy seeing other farms with Easter. Deco, though. 🌻 Farmgirl 👩🌾, I like the color combination at your farmhouse. The purple fence fits very well to the tulips. I also like it very much to admire beautiful deco on other farms, especially if I have none.

I was hoping greg would have given us deco to start the hunt.... 😞 I decorate for almost all the holidays. The upper part by the boat is kind of my main "holiday" area and extras are in the town.

Hi emailkathy THX so much for the screenshot. Very beautiful, I love it. Really, although I don't care for Easter I enjoy the deco on other farms.

While there's not a lot of Easter deco, yes I put it out and leave it up for a couple of weeks. It's not just Easter but it's Spring, new life and growth as the Earth awakens from the winter's nap.

I don’t know how to answer that question exactly. I’ll explain. I don’t specifically decorate for Easter but I have Easter decorations out all year. I don’t like changing my farm and decorations all the time and I like some decorations way too much to have them in storage for 50 weeks of the year. I think of my farm as areas of small little separate worlds. I have made an area where my bunnies and Guinea pigs live and that area has quite a few Easter and spring like decorations as well as bunny related decorations. The bunnies live in their own Easter land of sorts. The bouncing bunny is technically also an Easter decoration and that’s just too cute to store, every now and then I just sit there and watch it bounce for a minute and it always makes me smile. It just needs a permanent spot on my farm. I would still like to get the big Easter tree with the eggs. Not the small one in the basket. I have yet to make a Christmas and Halloween world but they’re in the plans 😂

Dear farmer, thank you so much for your answers. I'm very pleased about that. kat You got me wondering about this issue, and I'm thankful for that. Although I'm not fond of Easter it doesn't mean to neglect other opportunities for decorating another theme. I must admit I'm reluctant regarding this matter as my special deco corners merely are Halloween (the whole year) and to my own surprise Olympia. I write "surprise" as I didn't liked the Olympia stuff in the first place. I spotted I had more of this items in my archive than I thought and the beautiful arrangement from Gregs farm inspired me. Your thoughts are insofar important for me as I have to consider to change my behaviour remaining so reluctant. I think I need some time as I don't want to change too much, but I keep this in my mind. Thank you very much for your input. ❤️

Haha I agree Tahoe I love it. Generally I don’t buy the diamond and decoration packages. I don’t mind spending a little money on a game I enjoy so much but I have a strict budget and if I were to buy those packages I’m afraid I would be spending much more then I like. Not that’s it’s a necessity but more of a thing I’d feel comfortable with. Anywho I never regretted not getting any of these decorations although I do enjoy quite a few of them on other farms and like wat Ning the various decorated areas, except for the trampoline bunny. Every time I saw one I wished I had bought that one. I watched it around others farms quite frequently so when I saw it show up on the farm pass I absolutely had to get it. It was the first farm pass I actually bought and have been buying regularly since then. 😂
I also quite enjoy the woodpecker, it’s a good second in my book.
Donkeyfan, I’m happy that I’ve provided some insights and at least some food for thought. Decorating is very personal, just like every house is different and unique so is every farm and that makes one lovely Hay Day world. One thing is certain we all have favorite decorations and decorations we like less and that’s a very individual thing. Nothing wrong with how a player decorates as long as it brings them enjoyment. It’s nice to read how people approach to decorate and their thoughts and ideas behind the decorating.

It’s interesting how different we all are, and thank you donkeyfan for asking the question. I love decorating, but I’m also a bit lazy so tend to avoid decorating temporarily. I have some of the easter decos out all year round and i don’t move them, so the trampolining bunny (he sits with my other bunnies, but is still manically bouncing away when the others have settled down and gone to sleep!), the scattered Easter egg patches, the bee lights and fences, and the spring ponds, but i use them as spring decos more than specifically easter decos so i don’t need to take them down. Similarly, i have a permanent autumn themed area on my farm, but it is deliberately autumn themed not Halloween themed so i don’t have to change it. I tried to attach a picture, but i don’t think I’m doing it right still. It’s my autumn area, not Easter. I really appreciate threads like this as i love hearing what others do with their farm decorating.

I like to decorate for the whole month the holiday falls in, however, I only decorate for holidays that I celebrate in real life. There are a few decos in game for holidays I know nothing about, so I don't use those decos.

Hi jennyanne , thanks for sharing the picture of your farm with us. Regarding to your question....there are 2 ways to attach a picture. The first would be using the forum software, you only have to use the button "Add Attachment" and follow the instructions. Downside is, the size is limited to 1 MB and the forum software doesn't autoscale. Second possibility is using a hoster, like this one, I use it myself: imgbb.com/Besides, your decoration is very beautiful. I'd appreciate it to get the opportunity for more pictures.

The holidays and events that I don’t celebrate tend to have their deco left in storage. the bunny trampoline and the carousel stay out all year because I like them.

I just love pumpkins and autumn colours in general. So I end up decorating for Christmas, Easter and Halloween. Valentine Day and Saint Patrick Day gets a big fat kiss from me but no decorations.

<button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> The egg painting stump deco is beautiful, very happy when I opened this one. It goes great with my peacock area, I love it. It really makes up for the decos on April’s farm pass. Thank you HD! Looking good Southernlands! I thought it was a cool deco too.

Yes the egg painting stump is very nice. I'm planning putting a painter gnome next to it painting the gold portrait reward for reaching level 150. Only 6 levels until I can set it all up!
