@southernlands Nice idea. I'd support this as honey and beeswax is in high demand.

I do like the idea of having a bee keeper. It would be fun to see a little guy dressed in the netting walking around.
However, I see an issue if we get all the ‘helpers’ we’d like to have. I feel that it would almost be like having an automated farm, that we only need to load machines, and feed trucks and townies.

Mom’sCar Your arguments are valid, but there will be always something to prevent your farm from getting too automatized. And that remains completely in our hands. We have the choice to use something for our conveniance or not. Take me for example. Only one time I used Rose and Ernest. It was a desaster. Nothing worked. I must admit it wasn't the fault from Ernest or Rose. They are only doing what they're supposed to do. I gave the wrong orders. On the other side I'm not feeling comfortable by giving fundamental farm tasks out of control. I prefer to do this myself. So I quit both. According to this facts I think it's better to have many options with the possibility of choice what to use or not than not having it at all.

I LOVE Ernest and Rose and use them constantly. I never have to worry about having enough dairy or animal products. A beekeeper would be a wonderful idea, especially with the increased need for honey in products.
I don't think with the addition of a beekeeper there's any danger of our farms becoming automated. There's still too many farming choices and decisions to be made.

misspoufy Agreed. I know that many farmers use Rose and Ernest constant and with success. That's great and one from many positive aspects from HayDay...you can choose what you want or let it go.

I don’t use Rosie and Ernie at all and wouldn’t bother with a fishing helper I don’t think. A bee keeper might be useful at times.

I would love a bee keeper, like Rose and Earnest to keep up with my honey. I just can’t keep or make enough of it and would certainly pay for this help feature. Would anyone else use it? Wow, I have more honey and wax than I know what to do with. I harvest several times a day and always have plenty. I don't use Earnest or Rose so it would be of no value to me.

The only thing with an automatic honey production option would be that we’d need an axe tree to go with it.

Hmm…. I don’t run out of honey comb, wax or honey, so a beekeeper would be of no use to me. I don’t use Rose or Ernest either, not even when they are free.
But, like others have commented, some find them useful, so it’s great that the option is there for those who wish to take advantage.
