Ever since the update in November i have had a DICKENS of a time connecting to the servers. AT first it took several attempts before connecting....
this last week I have been shut out since wednesday.
I have done all the basics....turning off router, modem, clearing caches repeatedly, uninstalling game, installing game to no avail.
Mind you...I have no issues with my phone game...but my SAMSUNG A6 TABLETS are ;the issues. I have FOUR of them...FOUR games, and all of them went out at the same time, same day.
Is it possible that the update somehow removed compatibility with this device?, no longer supporting this device?
I would hate to have to lose the games of course, levels are between 137 and 90.
Can anyone please suggest something? TY in advance...
Is there any other info that might be helpful to have to make a suggestion, please let me know....

Seems basic question (maybe you already tried), but were you able to connect via a completely different wifi network ?
For example, using your phone to provide a hotspot for the tablets? Or physically go to another place with another wifi network?

yes, I forgot to mention that I tried connecting on SEVERAL different wifi systems, including my phone as a hotspot..
all were met with the same outcome...
"Cannot connect to server"...

Tricky . To secure your game, if you have already linked them to Supercell ID or Google Play accounts, then you would be able to load them again from Supercell server on another device. Similarly when you change device after a new purchase, or to load those farms on your phone. Can you confirm that? In recent years, I notice that clearing cache/uninstalling the game does not completely remove all gama data from your android phone like it used to. It means when you reinstall the game again, your farm is still loading. You won't start with a new farm from level 1. In this case, unless you have secured your game, I won't suggest to make any dangerous action that could lead to losing the game for good. Surely you can get to Support if you could provide all proof for ownership but that's another difficult battle.I would avoid that.

I wish I could say those games are in a vault that I can get into....but I cannot....those email addresses are tied to a phone number that I no longer have access to.
I changed carriers and something went kerflooey and they blanked me ATT when I was transferring to Cellular one. Phone number was lost to me. So I'm going to have a very hard time because the phone # was the security...I have no idea 3,4,5 years later what passwords I used for each email. Those emails were created soley for the purpose of creating another Hay day game.
I think 3 of the games were tied to supercell...but I don't know ..and because the devices are currently "non-communicative" to the servers...Not sure what to do....still looking for the elusive answers...
I should note...all of the tablets register very good signal strength and will open up other apps, just NOT Hay Day.

Tab A6 seems a very old device. Searched on google and found a page where the specs are mentioned.
Only 1,5 GB RAM and Android 5.0 ?
Searched Hayday in my playstore for the required Android. It says Android 5.0 or higher. So the android should be enough. But if Hayday changed the settings and forgot to change it in the store, perhaps your android version isn't high enough. Is your device updated to the newest Android version you can get for this device?
The RAM could also be a problem. 1,5 GB is not very much.

Thanks and yes, you're right, these devices came out in 2016. But all have worked fine till this last update, I also suspected as I mentioned above that they may have changed something at hayday feeling that 99% of those with A6's have upgraded....(not me, in fact I just got a refurbished one on ebay as the newer units are larger and too big for my hand to hold comfortably, I know....life is a B*). lol.
I have done all the avail updates for the unit in the playstore...this has been a very enjoyable super cheap game for me over the years...i've never spent a penny other than the A6 cost themselves...I would hate to start over...tens of thousands of hours during sleepless nights y'know?

Oh, i don't mean the updates on playstore.
Is android on the newest version you can get on this device?
"Newer units are larger": How large is yours? Thought it is 10'' ? So newer ones are not really larger. Perhaps a little bit but on the other side they are thinner and not as heavy as old devices.
I would wait and try it later. There are some issues after the last update. Read many comments with problems: loading to long. Don't really loading the game. Seems that there is also a problem with some newer devices.
So perhaps it can and will be fixed from hayday.
I'm very sorry, but I think it is only a for a short time. Your android is very old and every update from the game it can be that the change the required android to a higher version.
Unfortunately it isn't easy to get a farm back, when you haven't access to the emails you use for the supercell id. You only can change this with the support. And the support sometimes isn't the best.
To make sure, that it is your farm the want to know several things. Of course Farm ID, perhaps Level. The date when you started to play. And I don't know what else.
I also read about players who tried this and the support thought the farm isn't theirs and blocked it.

Thanks for your thoughts, Given the lack of back-up info to provide for hayday support, I am also thinking these 4 games might be dust to the wind....
I never wrote down their tag#'s but I do know their email names. Smart enough to write down the gmail passwords at the time, but now I cannot remember any of the security answers, and the old phone number are is no longer mine.
As neither of the remaining 2 games I still have control over is the group leader (I had my own group with my own 6 devices) I cannot opt out of the weekly tournaments. Maybe this is someone "higher up" telling me to reallocate and re-priortize my time.....
I will be patient....but I think I am going to have 4 A6's with lots of free time on their hands....

If you write down the gmail passwords, than you still have access to the mail accounts?
You have 6 farms. But every farm on an extra device? Or do you have your farms also on the other devices so that you can switch between them?
If you will still play with the two farms you haven't lost, then you have to be patient with the derby. After some weeks a player is inactive the game automatically opt out this player. And if the leader is too long inactive the group leader goes to another player. But unfortunately I don't know how long this takes.

Sounds like whatever blocking the connection has expired. Best to do now is to link your game to Supercell ID as it is your only reliable option left.
