Hi I don’t know why I can’t find it on here—glanced through the getting started info and proboards help. Am I missing something, or searching for something that doesn’t exist, lol. Is there an option to display the posts on each thread from newest to oldest rather than in chronological order, and to change the number of posts displayed per page?

I can’t find any way to change to newest on top either... I so prefer that view!

I can’t find any way to change to newest on top either... I so prefer that view! That's the first thing I was looking for as well when we started testing threads. We we not able to see an option to view the most recent thread on the top (which is what I've always been used to as well). If anyone here discovers this is an option, please let us know! As far as the number of posts/threads displayed per page, to my knowledge that setting is done by Admin for the entire boards, and not a changeable option for individual members.

When I use the link Recent Post (from Dashboard or statistic box at the bottom of forum home page), I see newest post first. By typing the thread name in the search bar at top right, I can filter the view to display post from a single thread, which is kind similar to the expected view. Tried Search feature ealier, with the limited thread we have, I get similar result as well. Won’t be so great once we get more threads later. According to Proboards support forum, such option is not built in On a side note, there is a way to get to the newest post, from the thread listing page. Have you found it?

It took me a few tries but I see the link on the dashboard that shows recent posts, then entered the name of this thread, and did see your post on top and my OP on the bottom. I wonder if mine will display as the top post when I post it now. So do we have to do this manually for every thread, every time we log in? From the thread listing page? Haven’t tried that yet. I never go there, lol. I’m used to following my friends’ posts after reading their first sentence(s). Now we get * Friend* posted on *thread*. Not as useful, but I’m still thankful we have what we have! Let’s hope proboards adds these features later.

All I see from the thread page is a way to jump to the last post, but it doesn’t show the whole thread in reverse order.

I was suggesting work around. If you can get to the last post, then instead of scrolling down to read, scroll up or go to previous page?

Thanks, Frog On… we will all adapt. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing the option!
