Dear member!
Guess what I did recently? 😉
Right, relocating my donkeys. I changed their stables with 2 from the horses. They are now placed adjacent the street. Additional I put a barrier on the street side. As a result my donkeys are forced to take a detour to reach their stables.
They are wandering now through my spring area which I arranged previously for the competition. So nice to watch them, I love it! 😍😄❤️

I forgot to mention this: My baby reached lv 100, I could open another lot on my baby and finally I gathered 9 chicken vouchers for the Dalmatian pelican. Currently I can't complain, things are going well.   |

Pushing this thread because it's a long time ago since I really enjoyed my farm completely. It needed to be refreshed, and since yesterday I am ready. It was a lot of work, my neck is hurting, but it's the result what counts. I'm very happy with the new look of my farm. 🙂
Soon I will post some impressions in my thread " Beautiful places on your farm". 😘

A few days ago, a fox appeared, as many do, but for the first time he didn't disappear after. I think his paw may be caught in the rocks bordering the farm. My dog, Debo, has befriended him, but The House Gargoyle (my white peacock), seems quite concerned by the fox's presence.  |

I’ve started sending puzzle boats away, which I never used to, but some are just ridiculous. In the derby rewards and valley if I have extra tokens, I go for the permits followed by puzzle pieces if I can.
Do you focus a lot of effort on getting all the puzzle pieces whenever possible, or something else?

I'll always choose a permit over a puzzle piece 😅 That said I will choose a puzzle over anything other than a permit 😁 Theres usually 2 puzzle boats a week I often find its the first boat that arrives (after 10am here in UK) on a Monday and either the one straight after or the one after that Then if you're lucky there's a 3rd puzzle boat later in the week (I just send away all boats that aren't puzzle normally in hopes another will show and every once in a while it does 😆) I store all the boat crates boosters over the top of any rose and earnest boosters I end up with And will happily use a 3 crate fill for one boat if I'm struggling and its a puzzle piece boat 😅 (I fill all the crates I can 1st via myself and helps and leave the 3 I want extra help with before activating the booster to fill them) I aim for permits and puzzles with every valley (only for the deco if I really like it or its a safari valley and easy to get) I usually do at least one switch of the derby rewards (if they're slim pickings to start with) And I've got lucky a handful of times with the floating crate off the towns beach 😁 |

I've also just completed my second meerkat on my main farm, and operate in a similar way to BauldersGate.
I always have sympathy for those players who aren't in that position, as they are constantly trying to play catch-up, which is much harder.
Having all sanctuary animals means that when new ones are introduced you get to work on one at a time, rather than having several "open". On my second farm there are 9 animals open, which spreads any puzzle pieces too thinly. I'm not bothered about collecting sanctuary animals on that farm which is perhaps a good thing!
The downside of having all animals is that puzzle pieces are greyed out in the valley, and any puzzle piece events are pointless. I can live with that, though.

Ack, I am in the situation you described and therefore gave up collecting puzzle pieces already a long time ago. But I don't care, it is how it is. I'm fine with it, that's important. 🙂
