Some JHD members have a picture in their signature block at the bottom of their postings. You can click on those and you can see where they store that file, or at least which program they use. You also get not wanted ads.
is there a possibility that you as admin lock those fields that when you tap on a picture that nothing will happen?

What you see (or don't see) from clicking on a members signature image is dependent upon how that image was uploaded. For example, I uploaded my signature pic using Postimages.org. You will be directed to their website if you click on my signature, but the image is not "stored" there (like some other image hosting sites). The links to it are only available for a short amount of time.
I'm not an expert with use of BB Codes, however, it is my understanding that if a BB Code is used to insert a signature, it will not link to anything and will in essence be "locked". However, I'm not aware of any way for Staff to manually lock others' signatures. My suggestion would be to simply not click on them.

I was scrolling through the postings and accidentally clicked on a sig, that’s how I found out. 😉
The space for the avatar is a fixed place so it won’t happen there, the place for the sig isn’t.

May I suggest scrolling on the side of avatar instead of in the middle of the screen? The feature you are talking about is an image with hot link to a website, not necessary the platform used to upload it (postimage in this case). In BBCODE, the tag has to be used in the signature and. Whie some doesn't change the default code offered by the hosting service, others might as well use that tag to link to, on purpose, their own website/ twiiter page, wikia page... --> Because of this, I am not sure if it makes sense to prevent one link but allow another link .
