I’d like to see one “expedite box” per building. When you put an item into the expedite box, it stops working on the current product and starts making the expedited request. When the expedited item is complete, the building picks up right where it left off in the regular queue.

This would help a lot, in a derby for example. If I’m sending trucks with items (and reload the machine with those items) then along comes a boat or other task I want to prep but now the machine isn’t available for hours (or days). I know it’s a “resource management” game, but when you have no idea what will be requested, when. It’s hard to “manage” unless you somehow make a lucky guess.

Greetings, donkeyfan I believe the idea that you are referring to is the replacement / cancelation an item in the product line, which has been requested numerous times and rule out. The idea that johnstone iis suggesting isn't to replace or cancel the item on the line, but to add an additional (boost box) that once you add an item to it, it will "pause " the current item on the product line..make the item in the "boost box" and once that item is finished, "unpause" the original items and continue making those. A different concept. Which sounds acceptable.

Hey RescueSquad15. (RS 15)🪓, THX for your explanation. Yes, that's what I meant. You are right, the suggestion from johnstone has a different approach. But nevertheless I'm thinking it is an intervention in a current product line and my opinion is that SC does not want that to be interrupted.
