Hi ducktown2021 and all other members,

you nailed it. I AM excited. Additional very pleased that SC timed the event for Halloween 🎃 better. I just "stumbled" about the announcement from Tahoe 🐾 and ensured the deco for every of my farms. Very nice, I enjoyed it.

Tbh, I have until now no clue what's gonna happen next because I didn't opened my farms longer to notice it, I only claimed the rewards. 😉

This will change now, I take a look! 🤩🎃

Hmm.. I might start editing the farm again.
Wonder if we can move a group of object previously selected (like moving entire map in Clash, but not necessarily the entire farm).

The editing improvements sound great, and just highlighted how it was badly designed in the first place, it was designed to be time consuming . Glad they finally do something about this.

Not a big fan of Halloween myself, I might easily skip some of the coming up events. But I am super happy about the UI improvements and the faster truck!

I love the Halloween update! I think the truck update will help so many people with events. I might even choose more truck activities. Lol all the deco is wonderful!

The whole missing out on rewards because I have all the animals has long been an irritation! I do hope they switch it for something on par... like a permit. I definitely do not want a board, nail, ax, tnt etc!

I am looking forward to the new edit mode. I do wish we could have more screens saved- like a regular one, then one for holidays or seasons... but maybe in the future!

Hopefully those chosen for the testing of new thing can keep us posted.

Those of us who have direct contact with Supercell have been making noises for a long time about the frustration of the "non-collectable" puzzle pieces that have featured as prizes in so many events recently.  It seems they have taken it on board,  thank goodness.

For a while, at least, there will be new sanctuary animals to collect pps for. It's good to know that when we have got those we won't have puzzle pieces as prizes in future.

Personally I really don't mind what item I get instead, if it's useful.  I have all my land open at the moment, so have permits in storage (let's hope there isn't a limit imposed on them).  Even if I get something that I can sell that will be less frustrating than the disappearing puzzle pieces.

To give a few perspective to what people not unlocking puzzle piece (like me) can get currently:
- in valley: neither puzzle nor blueprint offer as prize, so I usually get the max of permit (up to 3 in mixed colour)
- in catalogue: blueprint offered but cannot buy (storage full), got 12x upgrade materials offered in place of puzzle piece
- Greg's calendar: blueprint goes over storage, something else instead of puzzle piece (multiple upgrade material)

Let's see how they differ people that have full storage and people not unlocking puzzle piece. I bet they won't make any difference but I'll glad to be proven wrong.

When I go to the YouTube and I watch the video... at the QRcode spot there are words 0reventing me from scanning the code. ... does anyone have a availability to post it here? - the actual code, not just the link to video.

I always watch the videos on the same device on which I play Hayday. So I always use the link instead of the QR Code. 

I think you should act how it suits you best. Sometimes I used the link, this time the QR-Code. I have all my farms on my handy as well and due to this it was no problem to ensure that every of my farms got the deco.

At the first moment I was tempted to begin Halloween, but some time later I hesitated and put the deco in the archive. I think it's better to wait some time, there is no hurry. My main-farm has a Halloween theme anyway and so does my biggest baby.

As soon as I am in the mood I will make some changes.

😂 I almost made it into the instant complete collection circle. I just need the TP tree. I skipped it in the past, but the Dibley cats and kittens are lobbying hard.

EDIT: I discovered that the TP tree is the update prize. Thanks to this thread I successfully got it. The kittens are thrilled.

I didn't even know about the free deco offer. I just picked it up.

5 days of global boat event?😵‍💫 oh well... I think it's time to activate those Tom boosters I've been stacking for the past couple of months😅

I just read the “update notes” on the in-game notice board. What a help! For those of us who prefer reading to watching a video for information, adding the info in a text (with appropriate illustrations) is fabulous and much appreciated.

So often, the very best thing in an update is not the bells-and-whistles thing but a tiny improvement to something that has been an annoyance forever. In this case, the change to the riverboat that allows it to leave without waiting through the whole animation. I’m sure I’m not the only farmer who thinks she has sent the boat on its way only to come back hours later and discover it still tied up to the dock.🤬 Apparently, the lobsters and ducks will now clear faster. They were never a problem for me. I do have a few other candidates for a speed-up: the cowboy and actress, the sanctuary townie visit, and especially the fish poster.
