Yes, I agree. On one hand that many collections with which we are bombarded with simultaneously can be a little bit overwhelming. On the other side I appreciate the different themes, so everybody should find something what meets the taste.

I for myself fell in love with the Diving Duck and the Aquarium. So cute. Though I know my ressources are limited to create an exceptional theme based on those deco I try to use what's possible and give my best to make it appealing. Very often I use Greg for inspiration, bc I like the way how he (team SC) delivers a special theme.

What I don't like is the forced bundle to spend money if you want to have it all. Ok, some things are available in the surprise boxes, but...being realistic....how are the odds to get what you want? You can watch literally wasting diamonds and you won't get the desired deco. So, if you want it badly, SC wants you to buy diamonds with real money. And even then there's no guarantee that you get the wanted outcome.

In regard to the bottles...kinda stingy from SC to obtain them in a reasonable amount. You have to pay the farmpass if you want more.

Considering all the obstacles which are standing in the way it's nearly impossible to get everything you want. It has to be a compromise, as always. I won't bother knowing that I can't get everything but I do what I can to improve the odds. Fortunately I am off duty for some time, due to this I have more playing time. Nevertheless I consider very thoroughly what to do and what to skip. 🙂😘🌺

There will be another task event later in the month and also a county fair event. Some of the decorations we'll be able to obtain from those events and also some extra water bottles. But we probably won't get enough bottles to buy all the deco in the catalogue. We'll see 😉
Love the diving duck and aquarium decorations. Also the farm pass has some pretty cool decorations, first time in months when I felt that it is actually worth it to buy the farm pass 😎

In the correct order?

Yes, if you look at the number bottles needed and which deco you need to fill a page that will give you bottles as reward, which you can use to get other deco from the catalog to complete that page. So when you select smart you will be able to collect more bottles. Meaning selecting the deco you like most, most likely cost to much bottles when you need them to collect deco for another page.

For me, the best part of the collection book is the fact that it allows me to tap on a deco so I know its name and can search efficiently for it in storage. I just used it for the “splash mat” that I earned on the farm pass path. The splash mat is in the “Summer Champions” collection which doesn’t interest me at all. I have 2/12 items on that page and will only add to that collection if I earn something on the way to something else like permits.
So here’s how my collection book is looking:
Aquarium (1/5): I like this. I wish the animals were natural. No book-reading duck. No cow in the aquarium. There must have been other options.
Summer Games (3/6): not interested. The stuff I have probably came from when the Olympic stuff was originally offered. All still in storage.
Summer Champions (2/12): only interested in the splash mat. My chicks were delighted.
Beach (9/13): most of what I have, I purchased back in the past as deco offers. I won’t get any more unless we get more beach property. The only other option is to “develop” part of the sanctuary. I’d consider that if there were a path over the railroad to the beach or a bridge to the main town.
Pool (complete): this is another one I completed because of past purchases. The little kiddie pool with a slide is one of the original decos that was only available for purchase in the shop during the summer. That model of offering decor seems to have fallen by the wayside.
Summer Fair (7/10): The only thing I wanted was the chicks’ lemonade stand. I actually paid for the party farm pass to get that. I’ll use the Mardi Gras gnome when that season rolls around. Otherwise, anything I got during events will stay in storage.
Rock N Roll (6/11): I wasn’t interested in any of it. However, I do have a small outdoor venue using some of the pieces.
We Love Hay Day letters (complete): I have two sets I earned in past years one on the farm and one in town. I’ve probably got some in storage from this year.

Here’s pretty much everything I’ll use from the recent collections. The lemonade stand is elsewhere, and beach stuff is on the beach.

You can see the odds of getting specific items from the surprise boxes by tapping on the button showing dice at the top right of the offer box.

For me, all of the decos have the same likelihood - 8.33% - whilst the summer games bottles are more likely.

It's true that the odds are the same for every deco, but that's not the problem discussed here. Let's say for a collection with 10 items you already have 7 and need 3 more to complete the set. If you decide to buy the chest with 59 diamonds chances are you will most likely get one deco you already have, rather than the ones you're missing. I have read about this on other platforms, people were complaining because they spend lots of diamonds to buy the boxes and kept getting the same deco 2 or 3 times in a row. Even when you're not interested in completing the collection and you only wish to have 1 out of 10 deco that is available only via buying the surprise box it is too much of a gamble game. Before it was possible to buy the deco with money/diamonds and absolutely you got what you wanted, but now you have to spend probably massive amounts of diamonds with only 8% chance to get what you want.😵‍💫 It takes away the fun of the game.

BTW, I criticized this special monetization issue (surprise boxes) earlier, it's not fair. 

No, the fun won't be taken from the facts. It is how it is. Though I criticize Team HayDay for some things that doesn't hinder me to love the game at once. If this wouldn't be the case I'd have quit the game long ago.

I also don't bother with some things Team HayDay implements in the game, they have to make money. One thing that HayDay is still alive. I appreciate that, but don't agree necessarily with everything they come up with. That's another thing, my personal opinion. Nobody has to have the same impression or opinion.

I concentrate already a long time ago on things I like. Basically I like the collections, but not every possibility to obtain the desired items. 😉

I’m hoping that if the sticker books stay, we’ll be able to complete them with future events next year, kind of like safari animals. Well, sort of, lol.

Oups, forgotten...I also would like to integrate these deco, if possible....😉
