forum.supercell.com/showthread.php/500200-Pets-Animals-Guide-Rare-Item-DropsWhen I joined the original Supercell Forum a few years ago a very helpful lady pointed me to two threads, one of which is linked above and explains values of each pet for rare item drops - anyone here who has not read it will gain a lot from the game in understanding it........................ Anyway we now have new pets and my question is has anyone worked out the value ascribed to each Guinea Pig, I am presuming that the new horses equate to 42 and a brief test last night appears to support that theory, unless they are actually worth more than 42 (not been able to test that yet). As a matter of interest the other thread related to fishing areas, and again well worth reading if you wish to complete your fish book. Ian

Okay answered my own question, for those that are interested the Guinea Pig has a count of 20 towards the rare item drop and the Appaloosa Horse is confirmed at 42.

Just curious, how many of us are actually walking pet step by step to maximize the drop at your level?
I'm working on a few generic steps that would work approximately for a wider range or levels, for players who have all pets and also for players who only have some of them. Would anyone be interested?

Would anyone be interested? I just wake them, donβt care for the Max drop at my level. I think itβs more work to follow the wright steps to gain the Max drops, I rather just wake them up. I get always 2 drops for wheating my fields every 2 minutes and sometimes even 3.

Thanks donkeyfan, here's an early draft of the steps. I'll leave it here for some time to gather feedback then will add it in the Legacy guide thread.
Requirements: - level 102 or higher (magic number is 77 or higher) - have all pets currently available in-game: 6 dogs, 6 cats, 6 puppies, 6 kittens, 6 bunnies, 6 donkeys, 12 horses, 2 guinea pig - have farm animal ready to be collected (chicken/cow...): 33 (18 for the bonus item and maximum 15 for extra needed)
NOTE: 100xpHorse = white (andalusian) / black (lipizzaner) / bicolored or patched (pinto) / spotted (appaloosa) 60xpHorse = dark brown tail (bay) 80xpHorse = creamy tail (palomino)
Line format: #CC #N. cat1 cat2 cat3 (chicken chicken) DROP #CC : total points from the mandatory pet listed (before the drop) #N : number of drop accumualted with this step cat1 cat2 cat3: mandatory, one of each breed, not necessary in this order in case they are sleeping on top of each other (chicken chicken) : inside the parenthesis, maximum extra that is only needed if your magic number is higher than #CC, stop and go to next step after drop DROP = the extra farm animal needed (cow/chicken/pig/sheep/goat) to trigger the bonus
Now the steps once your pets are all asleep Check your counter, stop when you get a drop and go to next step: 77 1. bunny chicken bunny chicken bunny (chicken chicken chicken) DROP
Now your counter is at 0, do the following: 84 2. dog1 dog2 dog3 DROP 84 3. dog1 dog2 dog3 DROP / you can use whistle here on dog
78 4. cat1 cat2 cat3 (chicken chicken) DROP 78 5. cat1 cat2 cat3 (chicken chicken) DROP / you can use whistle here on cat
83 6. puppy puppy bunnie DROP 83 7. puppy puppy bunnie DROP 83 8. puppy puppy bunnie DROP / you can use whistle here on puppy
80 9. kitten kitten donkey DROP 80 10. kitten kitten donkey DROP 80 11. kitten kitten donkey DROP / you can use whistle here on kitten
80 12. 60xpHorse 100xpHorse donkey DROP 80 13. 60xpHorse 100xpHorse donkey DROP 78 14. 80xpHorse 100xpHorse (chicken chicken) DROP 78 15. 80xpHorse 100xpHorse (chicken chicken) DROP
84 16. 100xpHorse 100xpHorse DROP 84 17. 100xpHorse 100xpHorse DROP / you can use whistle here on horse
Left over, either: 78 18. bunny bunny donkey guinea (chicken chicken) DROP / you can use whistle here on bunny, donkey or 53 18. bunny donkey guinea guinea In this last line, the 18th drop will come when harvesting from the rest of animals to reach your magic number.
I would love your feedback if you try this out. Thank you in advance.

Dear FrogI will try this. I have time and I'm interested how this works. But I have to prepare it. At first I have to print the schema with the value points for each animal and than the guidance you posted. I will report in this thread when I'm done.

Thank you donkeyfan.
May I ask why you feel needed to print the point of each pet? The steps are prepared and explained in the way that you don't need to know the value of individual pet. If your level is above 102 with all pets then you can apply them next time waking up your pet.
You can just tested the first line of bunny to reset your counter at zero, then any of a complete line in any order you would like. For example, you can follow steps with horses and donkey only (6 drops max), then ignore the rest and use whistle on the rest of your pets.
I can say it another way like this:
- alternate bunny and chicken till you get a drop --> counter at zero, ready for next drops
- one of each cat breed, then chicken till drop - one of each dog breed, then chicken till drop
- two puppies, one bunny, then chicken till drop - two kittens, one donkey, then chicken till drop
- bay horse, another horse (not bay nor palomino), one donkey, then chicken till drop - palomino horse, another horse (not bay nor palomino), then chicken till drop
- two horses (not bay nor palomino), then chicken till drop - two horses (not bay nor palomino), then chicken till drop
- all the rest of pets and other farm animals you need. Soon again, chicken and donkey will be ready to collect anyway.

Your are right, Frog, that wasn't necessary. But it doesn't matter. Now I have a schema with all points for all animals, it doesn't hurt. But for the experiment it was not mandatory, I see it. Just done, tomorrow I will give it a try.

The drops are fine, what I donβt like with this method is that you have to click on each individual animal. As soon as you do that itβs starts running around and give you the option to enter an animal name. The screen offcentres. If your are epileptic, or have symptoms this is no fun. For me not worth the higher drops.

After tapping on a pet, I tap elsewhere next to it right away. Prefer clear land that doesn't trigger any interaction.
To each their own, I wanted to offer a simplified way to people who wanna try but find it hard to do the math and memorize all the steps involving more than 3 pets.
Edit: I have two fingers ready to tap. 1 on the pet and 1 on a clear land or the road.

ducktown2021I must admit that I'm not used to deal with the items in the described manner. Normally I use my whistle to gather them. But on the other side I'm curious and want to know how or wheather the outcome increases, especially for rare items.

For me not worth the higher drops. I agree with you. I rarely click on each animal. I mostly use the whistle. I find it annoying to have the centerpoint of my screen moving just because I wake an animal. I'm not concerned with the drop items, I get enough of them from other sources in the game. i appreciate the effort to get these drop rates collected for other farmers. I will say that understand why many people find this helpful, because the information is exactly that, helpful. I just can't be bothered to worry about it. Besides, my pets lay sleeping most of the time. Does that make me a bad pet owner? π I tend to use my milk and bacon for more important items. However, I feed my animals wanting carrots often.

Whoa whoa, I hope I make no mistake. I'm so used in my bahavior to gather the items only with the whistle that I must pay attention to what I do tomorrow. Grmpf, if I fail, I have to do it again. Till success. I'm on it.

For others that are not that concerned with the screen moving when tapping an animal itβs good help if your after items. i might give the two finger option a try.

Sometimes it's for barn, sometimes for silo. Actually it is LEM, especially land deed. They have become rare in the last time. I'm curious in which relation the items are distributed.

I will wake up my pets and animals the way I always do tomorrow and post here the drops. If somebody who does it the way frogon describes it also we can see the differences in number and type of items.

13 drops.
12 from pets, 1 from other animals
Panel, plank, saw, nails, dynamite, dynamite, screw, axe, saw, bolt, saw, nails from pets. Plank from other animals.
Looking at the time that it takes to have the animals ready again, vs my 2 or 3 drops with wheating every 2 minutes, mwah.....
Conclusion for me is that I donβt need the additional drops from the animals to get the (additional) βrareβ drops.
Curious to read the experiences from you donkeyfan using the other βmethodβ.

Did a little test after this. I believe the chickens need 20 minutes so I did 20 minutes of wheating. Gave me 21 drops.
6x plank, 3x screw, 2x mallet, 3x bolt, 1x panels, 3x axe, 1x saw, 1x shovel and 1x land deed.
Yes, I am a plank farm, and so are my babyfarms. π

Hi, I'm dissapointed. Not the outcome I expected. Result: 6 duct tapes 2 saws 4 nails 1 axe 1 dynamite 1 plank 1 land deed ducktown2021 and RescueSquad15. (RS 15)πͺ were right. It's too much effort for an unknown success. Maybe I had a bad run, who knows? But I think it's mostly luck to get the desired items. Only one land deed, that's not very encouraging. But I'm glad to try this. Now I know and this is also something.

FrogWhen I fed my animals yesterday as usual (whistling) I got less items but more valuable. 2 land deeds 1 stake marker 2 saws 1 plank 2 duct tapes Coincidence? I'll give it today another shot and will report shortly afterwards. donkeyfan

Still a difference in numbers, your 8 drops versus my 12 drops. Yes, indeed. I think it's depending in which manner and order you are feeding. My obviously could be improved. But honestly? I don't care whether I get one or two or three less or more. On the other side I'm curious whether I'm getting a better result when I feed them a second time as described by Frog.

You won't get "more valuable" (completely subjective by the way). Just like harvesting from fields, either soybean or sugarcane.
Thanks for testing. I know my steps work, whether it suits farmer play style is up to them to decide.
If one choose to follow a particular style, they would build their farm to do it best (e. g. having fields grouped together for fast harvesting /planting).

Well, I'm ready with my second shot. It's very similar to my first. Conclusion: If I handle feeding in the described manner I'm getting more items but less valuable such as axes, dynamite and saws and so on plus a plenty of duct tapes. My farm is definetely a duct tapes farm, I have always more as I want and therefore I'm not interested to gain more. If I feed as usually I'm getting less items but normally more valuable, but this differs, too. I think it's a lot of luck an coincidence, too. ducktown2021 I don't know why you are gaining more items provided you feed in a similar manner as I do. But I don't care and I grant you having more success on farming as myself. In the past I never wanted to gain as much as possible, I prefer to do what has to be done and I'm good with it. My main thing is knowing to have a beautiful farm and to enjoy it. Sometimes I'm only watching my animals especially the donkeys and this has a relaxing effect on me.
