squirrelI think it depends mostly on my very different play-style compared to earlier years. Once I wanted all and at once, such as vouchers ( for all animals), decos (rewards from a derby e. g.) and I was hunting permits. Until I recognized...I would never catch up, it's the never ending story. Once I attended the valley as well. It was never my favorite part of the game, though. Meanwhile I prefer another style. I am not rushing anymore. I skip derby bc I got rarely nice rewards, even if I used to play with the bunnies. They didn't rewarded me accordingly (e. g. the prior mentioned permits). I am too "old" to bother about that, and I have no nerves for that "behaviour" of the game regarding me. Even if I could easily get a permit from the valley I ignore it. I am lacking so much for the next lot that I have to do one valley after the other to gain a reasonable amount. I don't care meanwhile. My time is too precious for that unpredictable and for me unfortunate behavior. I have better to do than haunting after things I won't get. I found my way and my pace. I only serve still my townies. If necessary I fill my machines if I am lacking some products. But I do this only if I am in the mood. It's sufficient for me to do the absolute necessary, getting every now and then some items, and watch my animals. I also don't care for space in barn and silo. I have more than enough since I reduced some time ago the amount of products. I play less, so I need less. It suits me well. So it's meant to be. 🙂😘🌹

Any chance SC could confirm this issue as intended change or bug? Players are impacted differently.

I’m glad you found some confirmation and explanation so we don’t think we’re going crazy.
If they didn’t do a test on something they wanted to change and just implemented it across the board though, there would probably be an uproar along the lines of what we’ve seen before: “Doesn’t Supercell test these things? Do they even play their game?”

Fifio ☃️ & MommySnooks 🐯 You are both right. On one hand it's for me also not acceptable being a guineapig for game improvements. Aside from the fact that the above issue doesn't affected me bc I generally skip valley. But you have to consider it in general, for every part of the game. Sure, if there weren't tests and SC would implement things which cause problems afterwards the outcry would follow immediately. It's a dilemma for both, SC and the players. I'd appreciate it if SC would be able to test in a special environment which doesn't bother players if something goes wrong or not so good as assumed. I think for some things SC has to test on us, to be certain bc some things can't be determined in an artificial environment. I understand this but it doesn't mean that I am fine with it....

At the beginning it was the same: I saw all the great decos and pets and wanted to get it also. I was a bit impatient and I wanted to reach all these amazing things as fast as I can. But now I am more relaxed. It comes, when it comes. I don't have rush. Of course I have to care for space and land. Because of this I play derby and the valley. But only as much as it suits to my gameplay and my life. If there is a derby I don't like, I skip it. If there is a permit in valley, that is too difficult to reach, I skip it.

Absolutly agree with you. I think there should be an area for testing. This should not happen in the live system. I think it is not ok to choose some players and test things on their farms. Without asking or telling them. And what will happen if there will appear issues on this farms? Thats absolutly not ok, in my opinion. I don't think this is a good way. You are right, there can be issues that can't be determined in an artificial enviroment. But for this, they should search for players who agree to do beta tests. So that the process is safe and clear for all.
