Having rearranged for more space I now have a rectangle in middle of my farm to play with deco wise 😁  It does mean my production buildings are more bunched together so I have saved 1 version of the old layout to switch back to in case it bugs me too much 😅 Current question is what do I put in the other 2 middle green bit? 🤔 more custom decos?....not sure 😅 Update, gone for ponds:  Wow, it really looks awesome. You like symmetric designs, aren't you? Love your balanced look. And the ponds are great in the 2 middle areas. Business in the farm, party across the road...or more accurately wilderness across the road 😅😁 |

Wow! I am so delighted to find this thread! So far, I’ve only looked at the two most recent pages. I can see I have to go back to the beginning to see all the creative ideas. Here’s my newest addition to the farm — a maze for my birds. The birds have driven me nuts since they first were introduced because they would go to sleep way off in the hinterlands behind some tree, and when they were awake, I usually couldn’t find them. I noticed on Greg’s farm that he had a fence around them which gave me an idea. I had to cut down several original trees (sob!) to get a clear space for my aviary. When I was confident that the hedge would keep the birds corralled, I decided to make a maze for them. I may do some more rearranging to clear more space for a larger maze, but this is a good start. The best part is that I can enjoy the birds and don’t hesitate to wake them up.  |

This is my “party field”. I change it regularly for holidays. Over the years, I’ve accumulated quite a bit of decor. It’s fun to look through the storage tab to find stuff I’d forgotten. Here’s this year’s Hay Day Birthday party. I didn’t link up all the birthday event pieces. I decided to keep some of them free standing. I’ll put it all away and set up for something summery next.  |

Feel like I'm currently monopolising this thread 😆 But I had to share my acquisition of the new Willow!  It currently replaces the sundial in the middle of my random garden area  (I've decided to chip into my remaining unopened areas by following the random path dictated by the decos they hold that I want most 😆) |

Ack! I like it, too. Fortunately I can see this first hand! ❤️ Some days ago I changed the bottom of my farm where I placed the rewards from the birthday event. It fitted very well with the plum trees and the purple hedge. But it had it's time. I put my beautiful Olympia corner again on my farm. It's emanating a special silence and a peace which I love very much. That's also something I appreciate on HayDay. You don't have to work a lot on your farm. Sometimes it's really sufficient to watch and enjoy. 🙂🌺 |

Have been trying to work out how to incorporate the duck pond into my farm for ages, & finally did it yest. Am quite happy with the result, but wish I had more of the Hanami path.  |

Nice, Donkeyfan. 😊. I like the way you incorporate the fields and such, as well. I’m too reliant on having mine in segments of a certain length so I can plant and collect quickly. 😂. I *might still set up a corn maze before Halloween, but not yet.

After a longer time without foxes I got a single one. He strayed around the horse stables and I tried to ignore him. But today I was tired of his appearance and decided to evict him from my farm.
For explanation...
I don't like the foxes. I remember very well when there was a time (after an update in the past IIRC) when foxes spread from a "hole" at the upper corner near the shore. At that time I managed to get rid of them by using the Edit-Mode.
This time I used the Edit-Mode again. It was only 1 fox but I consider him ugly, stalking my horses. So I induced him to move forward. From the past I knew I had to be patient. The fox needs his time. When he moved forward towards the street I blocked his way backwards using machines as obstacles. At the same time I cleared his way to the street.
After some time with patience he moved finally to the street and disappeared. Subsequent I activated my secured farm layout and everything was fine. Without foxes. 🙂👍

as it stands, I couldn't resist. Placed my "Halloween" layout in town. I took the liberty and made some additional spooky arrangements. Sadly I can't place dead trees. But it's scary, nevertheless. If you have time and if you are in the mood, take a look. ❤️😘
