I was happy when we got coconut trees, because I spent most of my childhood in Miami, FL., and I’ve always loved coconut palms. There’s in neighborhood in Miami called Coconut Grove, and it had a park that was one of my favorite places, so I decided to create my version of a “coconut grove.” Usually I line all my trees and bushes up in rows (as you can see in the upper left), but this time I scattered some of them around to look more realistic (though I still have some lined up across the back). Tried every combo....now I'm completely confused 🤣😂 Did pass the time whilst simmering dinner though 😆 sorry for backtracking but I am curious (and hungry) what did you simmer for dinner? :-) |

sorry for backtracking but I am curious (and hungry) what did you simmer for dinner? :-) 😆 was a lamb meatball, chickpea, harrisa tagine style stew with pomegranate seeds ...I'm the cook for the family so to keep myself amused I google new recipes and try them out 😅 Today is a lazy one for Sunday, slow cooker brisket with the norm celery, carrots etc 😁 |

I didn't make a tagine in pry 3 years, mine stands on top of the fridge and waits for me to set it up on the back porch, the Moroccan way, with hot coals and lots of time. I never used pomegranate seeds, will try that next. today we will do pizza on the grill, everyone can choose the toppings, always fun :-) |

I believe you all know my Riverside Park by now, always something fun going on there. The Autumn Fest is still going strong, the gnomes just love to dance, eat hot dogs and ice cream (when no one is watching  ) By now Florinda, the Farm Witch, packed up her potions and tracked back to her hidden abode and the 'Wiesn' (across the Park) is set up with more Autumn fun such as pumpkin judging and a wood chopping competition.  |

I love the color, but it looks fake to me. I googled blue wisteria trees online, and I haven’t found a photo of one that’s nearly such a bright blue. Has anyone else seen one that’s close to this color?
